The Guinness World Record for reciting the most digits of Pi is 70,000 digits.

In honor of Pi Day, at the end of the competition (5:00-5:30 PM) we will have an unofficial contest of reciting digits of Pi (in decimal) from memory. We will present awards for the top three competitors to recite the most digits of Pi accurately from memory.

The Pi Reciting contest not required to take part in the cubing competition. However, no matter how many digits you know, you are welcome to take part! If you want to participate, please fill out this form so we know how many people to plan for.

If you're serious about winning our Pi Reciting Contest, there are methods for learning digits quickly, some of which are connected to the same memory techinques used by top blindfolded solvers. Learn more here.
