There is a competitor limit of 110 competitors.
The base registration fee for this competition is $15 (Australian Dollar).
If your registration is cancelled before you will be refunded 100% of your registration fee.
No on the spot registrations will be accepted.
Spectators can attend for free.

Any new registrations will be added to the waiting list and sorted in the order of payment. Waitlisted competitors will only be accepted provided one of the accepted competitors withdraws from the competition by emailing the organisation team at firstname.lastname@example.org. All competitors remaining on the waiting list on May 21 will be removed and issued a full refund. Competitors who wish to receive an early refund or know their position on the waiting list should email the organisation team.
Upon registering you will receive an email stating “Your registration for Twisting in Toowoomba is submitted and pending approval”. This does NOT mean that you are on the registration list. Competitors will not be approved until payment has been made. Please ensure you have paid the registration fees via Stripe on the register page. Your registration will not be processed until you have paid the registration fees.
Once the competitor limit has filled new registrations will be added to a waitlist to be sorted in the order of payment. Waitlisted competitors will only be accepted provided one of the accepted competitors withdraws from the competition by emailing the organisation team at email@example.com. All competitors still on the waiting list after 21/5/2020 will be removed.
To receive a refund you must email the organisational team at firstname.lastname@example.org before 21/5/2020. Refunds will not be issued after this date for any reason.

Toowoomba is a nintey minute drive from Brisbane via the Warrego Highway. The venue is located at 30 Phillip Street, East Toowoomba at the St Pauls Lutheran Hall. There is some onsite parking and sidestreet parking. On a Saturday there is ample parking on side streets close by the venue.
There are regular bus services to Toowoomba from Brisbane such as Murrays and Greyhound. Please consult their websites for availibilty on the day. The Toowoomba Bus interchange is a under a 20 mintue walk from the event.
If staying overnight, there is plenty of great and affordable accommodation close to the venue.

Q. How can I change my events?
You must amke any change your registered events before 21/05/2020. Send an email to email@example.com detailing your event changes.
Q. What time should I arrive at the competition?
You should arrive for registration at 8.50am. You should be at the venue ready to compete 20 minutes before you are scheduled. Please note the schedule is subject to change on the day.
Q. How old do I have to be to compete?
Anyone can compete at any age! We encourage anyone considering to compete to register as it will be a great experience regardless of age.
Q. How fast do I have to be to compete?
To compete you only need to know how to solve the cube! Please check the events tab for information in time limits for each event.
Q. What do I need to know before the competition day?
Before attending you should have read and understood the WCA regulations . We also recommend that you watch this helpful competitor guide and read this competition tutorial. You should also know when your events are scheduled throughout the day.
Q. How do I find out if I've progressed to the second round?
Times will be uploaded to WCA Live through the day. Please allow up to an hour from finishing your solves to them being uploaded. After all the times of a round has been entered, you can see if you are in the following round.
Q. Can I help on the day?
Of course! Throughout the day we will need judges and runners so please see our Delegates to ask how you can best assist.
