Competitors for each event are divided into groups. Some events (like 2x2 and 3x3) will have a lot of competitors and therefore many groups, while others (like 6x6) will only have 2 groups. At the competition, we will announce when a group starts so you can bring up your puzzle to the scrambling table and place it on the scorecard that has your name.

When arriving at the competition, go to the registration desk to receive the overview of the groups you are competing in and judging, scrambling or running for, during the first rounds. This is the minimum amount you should be helping out. If you want to help out more, you are always welcome to fill an empty judge seat. We appreciate this enormously as it helps us running the competition smoothly!

Competitions in Belgium are run with the help of Speedcubing Belgium's team. Our goal is to increase the number and size of competitions. If you want to organize a competition yourself, or just help us out a bit during a competition weekend, feel free get in touch!

We have reached the competitor limit of Twist and Turn Ghent 2026, so if you register, you will be added to the waiting list.

The entry fees for competitors is €14, guests can attend free of charge.

How to register for the waiting list

1. Fill in the form on this site.
2. Pay the entry fee.
3. You are now on the waiting list. Whenever a spot becomes available, we will send the first person on the waiting list an e-mail. You can claim the spot if you reply within 24 hours after we send you the e-mail.

If your registration is not accepted before the competition, we will refund your entry fee.

Cancellation

If you registered but are unable to attend for some reason, you can cancel your registration by sending an email to the organizers. If you do this before the 11th of April 2026 (the Saturday before the competition), we will refund half of your entry fee.

Change events

You can change the events you are registered for on on this site, until the Friday before the competition.

You must register to the competition (tab "General info" on the competition page).,

By car:
This is the easiest option, the venue is situated right at an exit of the highway R4. There are parking spots available at the venue
At the bottom of this tab you can find a map. The red area is where you can park your car. The black area is the venue

By train + bus:
The easiest way is to take the train to Ghent Sint-Pieters and take the bus from there.
You can either take the bus 60 which stops ~600m from the venue (Mariakerke Industrieweg) or you can take bus 9a/9b which both stop ~1.7km from the venue (Mariakerke Kollekasteel (Eeklostraat))
The bus 60 takes you from the train station to the venue in 30min (walking included), the 9a/9b are around 50min (walking included)
Make sure you plan your bus route ahead of time since there are not a lot of busses every hour, especially in the morning. You can further plan your route via this website: https://www.delijn.be/nl/routeplanner/
PLEASE be carefull during the walk from the bus stop to the venue. You will most likely pass a busy road so make sure you are traveling safely

C'est l'option la place facile, la salle est située sur la droite à la sortie d'autoroute de l'autoroute R4. Il y a des places de parkings disponible.
Ci-dessous vous trouverez une carte. La zone rouge indique ou vous pouvez garer votre voiture.
La zone noire est l'endroit de la compétition.

Train+bus:
Le plus facile est de prendre le train vers Gand saint Pierre (Ghent Sint-Pieters) et de prendre le bus depuis là.
Vous pouvez prendre le bus 60 qui s'arrète à 600m de la salle (Mariakerke Industrieweg) ou alors prendre le 9a/9b qui s'arrète à 1.7~km de la salle (Mariakerke Kollekasteel (Eeklostraat))

Auto:
Dit is de gemakkelijkste optie, de zaal bevindt zich aan een afrit van de autosnelweg R4. Er is plaats om te parkeren beschikbaar bij de competitie.
Onderaan deze tab kan je een kaart vinden. Het rode gedeelte is waar je je auto kan parkeren. Het zwarte gedeelte is de zaal van de competitie.

Trein + bus:
De gemakkelijkste manier is om de trein te nemen naar Gent Sint-Pieters en vanaf daar de bus naar de competitie.
Vanaf Gent Sint-Pieters kan je de bus 60 nemen die ongeveer 600m van de zaal stopt (Mariakerke Industrieweg) of je kan de bussen 9a en 9b nemen die ongeveer 1.7km van de zaal stoppen. (Mariakerke Kollekasteel (Eeklostraat))
Met de bus 60 ben je ongeveer 30 min onderweg van het station naar de competitie (Inclusief wandelen), met de bussen 9a en 9b duurt dit ongeveer 50min (Inclusief wandelen)
