Important Information

-All competitors must have read the WCA regulations. Participants are expected to know WCA regulations attending an official competition. We will have a competitor tutorial for new participants before the first event begins, where we will show how to compete in an official WCA competition. If you want to get a better idea of how the competition works already, please check these videos which will show you this. Reading through this guide. is also a good idea since it shows most things a competitor needs to know.

Throughout the competition, you will be able to see live results from WCA Live, and there you can see what results you got and whether or not you proceeded to the next round.

Be prepared to compete when your group/event begins. Make sure you are at the venue for any events you plan to participate in and arrive at least 30 minutes before your event starts. The schedule may change slightly from what was initially announced, so it's important to be on-site early. If you are late and miss the final call for your event, you will not be allowed to compete in that event. While missing an event does not prevent you from participating in other upcoming events, it does disqualify you from any subsequent rounds of the missed event.

Please note that the schedule might run ahead or behind the original plan. To avoid any issues, be present in the competition area at least 60 minutes before your scheduled event.

-Grouping summary list A Grouping summary list will be published here a week prior competition, please note down which groups you are competing, scrambling or judging in before arriving at the competition!

We wanted to let you know this event is perfectly fine for cubers of ANY age and experience. We just ask you know a couple things before coming to compete...

First, please be familiar with the WCA Regulations, found here:
https://www.worldcubeassociation.org/regulations/

We have a video series made specifically for new cubers, to show them the basics of competing. This video will explain most of what any cuber competing for the first time will need to know.

If you are stoked to compete and ready to sign up, head over and Register for the Competition

FAQs

Q: Do I use my own cube to compete?
A: YES! You are responsible for your own hardware in order to compete. This means you should bring your own cube.

Q: What is the normal age of competitors at these events?
A: All ages are welcome, but in general competitors are between 10 and 20 years old. Don't let this stop you though, everyone can and should cube!

Q: How do I find results?
A: All results are posted on the WCA page within a week after the competition finishes. However, for the day of competing, go to https://live.worldcubeassociation.org to find information about current events. This is also where you will find information about upcoming rounds of events. Remember, the results are entered by a human so please be patient if you do not see your results immediately.

Q: Are there age divisions?
A: Nope! All competitors compete together.

Q: I want to attend, or I have friends/family who want to attend, but not compete. Do they need to pay as well?
A: No. All spectators are free to view the competition at no cost. There is payment only to compete. But in some cases, venue will be having restriction to allow spectators depending on the competition.

Q: Can I have fun at this event?
A: HECK YES! Cubing is amazing, and we sincerely hope you enjoy the competition!

Remember that you only need to be at the venue when you have an event to compete in, but since the schedule might change slightly throughout the competition, we recommend showing up at least an hour before your first event. If you’re not on time and miss the last call for that event, you will not be able to compete for that event. Missing any given event does not bar you from competing in subsequent events (but does bar you from competing in subsequent rounds of events you missed).

Throughout the competition, you will be able to see live results from WCA Live, and there you can see what results you got and whether or not you proceeded to the next round.

If you have any further queries, please do mail the organizers & delegates. We're happy to help!
