Wir freuen uns über zahlreiche Anmeldungen für die erste Ausgabe der Thüringen Open 2026 nach einigen Jahren Pause! Lasst uns das Event dauerhaft nach Thüringen holen ;)
We’d be absolutely delighted to receive lots of entries for the first edition of the Thüringen Open 2026 after a few years’ break! Let’s make this tournament a permanent fixture in Thuringia ;)

There is a competitor limit of 80 competitors.
The base registration fee for this competition is €10 (Euro).
The registration fee has to be paid through Stripe here once registered.
If your registration is cancelled before you will be refunded 100% of your registration fee.
Registrants on the waiting list may be accepted onto the competitor list until .
We encourage everyone to register for the events they want to compete in via your online registration, however you may add events to your registration up until the event has started.
No on the spot registrations will be accepted.

3. Anmeldegebühr: Die Anmeldegebühr beträgt 10 Euro und wird direkt nach Ausfüllen des Anmeldeformulars via Stripe auf dieser Website bezahlt. Hierfür ist der Zugang zu einer Kreditkarte notwendig.
Wichtig:
* Ohne Zahlung ist die Anmeldung nicht vollständig!* Das Ausfüllen des Anmeldeformulars reserviert deinen Platz vorläufig. Erfolgt die Zahlung spätestens innerhalb einer Stunde nach Anmeldung, werden Teilnehmer in Reihenfolge ihres Anmeldezeitpunktes akzeptiert, ansonsten zählt der Zeitpunkt des Zahlungseingangs.
* Da Stripe direkt in das WCA-Registrierungssystem integriert ist, ist eine Zahlung erst nach dem Ausfüllen des Anmeldeformulars möglich. Getätigte Zahlungen werden dann automatisch zugeordnet.
* Falls das Teilnehmerlimit bereits erreicht wurde, erhältst du nach vollständiger Anmeldung inklusive Zahlung einen Platz auf der Warteliste. Danach erhältst du eine E-Mail, sobald ein Platz für dich frei werden sollte.

2. Registration form: Fill out the registration form and submit it.
3. Registration fee: The registration fee is 10 Euro and is paid via Stripe on this website after filling the registration form. Access to a credit card is necessary for this purpose.
Important:
* Your registration is not complete without payment! Filling out the registration form provisionally reserves your place. If payment is completed within one hour of registration at the latest, participants will be accepted in the order in which they registered; otherwise, the date of receipt of payment will be taken into account.
* Since Stripe is directly integrated into the WCA registration system, payment is only possible after completing the registration form. Payments made are then automatically assigned.
* If the participant limit has already been reached, you will be placed on the waiting list after completing your registration and payment. You will receive an email as soon as a spot becomes available for you.

Anreise mit dem Auto
Über die A71 bis Abfahrt Sömmerda-Ost Richtung Sömmerda. Über Frohndorfer Straße - Freiligrathstraße - Fichtestraße entweder in die Guerickestraße oder in die Salzmannstraße einfahren. Parkmöglichkeiten sind sowohl in der Guerickestraße (wo es auch aufs Gelände der Schule geht) oder in der Salzmannstraße am Straßenrand vorhanden. Bitte nicht auf dem Schulgelände parken, dort gibt es nur wenige Parkplätze für die Orga. Bitte beachten: Die Parkplätze des Einkaufsmarktes sind nur für die Dauer eines Einkaufs kostenlos nutzbar.
Anreise per ÖPNV
Mit der Bahn bis zum Bahnhof Sömmerda. Zu Fuß unter der Bahnunterführung durch und dann gleich rechts in die Salzmannstraße. Laufweg ca. 10 Minuten.

By car
Take the highway A71 to the Sömmerda-Ost exit toward Sömmerda. Follow Frohndorfer Straße—Freiligrathstraße—Fichtestraße to turn onto either Guerickestraße or Salzmannstraße. Parking is available both on Guerickestraße (which also leads to the school area) and on the side of the road on Salzmannstraße. Please do not park on school grounds; there are only a few parking spaces reserved for the organizers. Please note: Parking at the supermarket is free only for the duration of your shopping trip.
By public transport
Take the train to the Sömmerda station. Walk through the railroad underpass and then turn right immediately onto Salzmannstraße. The walk takes about 10 minutes.
Deutsch
Direkt an der Schule in der Salzmannstraße befindet sich ein "Nahkauf"-Markt. Dieser ist Samstags von 07:00 - 18:00 Uhr geöffnet. Dort befindet sich auch ein Bäcker. Das Stadtzentrum mit Marktplatz ist ca. 15 Minuten entfernt. Dort befinden sich mehrere Restaurants und Bäcker, die auch Sonntags geöffnet haben.
In Sömmerda gibt es mehrere Hotels und Pensionen. Wer lieber in Erfurt übernachtet: Die Fahrzeit nach Sömmerda beträgt ca. 30 Minuten mit dem Auto.

Right next to the school on Salzmannstraße is a ‘Nahkauf’ supermarket. It is open on Saturdays from 7.00 am to 6.00 pm. There is also a bakery there. The city centre, including the market square, is about 15 minutes away. There are several restaurants and bakeries that are also open on Sundays.
There are several hotels and guesthouses in Sömmerda. If you’d prefer to stay in Erfurt, the journey to Sömmerda takes about 30 minutes by car.
Alle Wettkämpfe in Deutschland werden von Mitgliedern der German Cube Association und weiteren freiwilligen Organisatoren aus dem ganzen Land durchgeführt. Bitte kommt auf uns zu, wenn auch ihr Interesse am Organisieren eines Turniers habt.

Photography and video recordings may be taken at the event. All photos and videos will be made available to participants after the event. The same applies to guests accompanying participants or watching in general.
Consent: With your registration you agree that photos or videos of you may be published later.

Time limit
If you reach the time limit during your solve, the judge will stop you and your result will be DNF (see Regulation A1a4).
Cutoff
The result to beat to proceed to the second phase of a cutoff round (see Regulation 9g).
Format
The format describes how to determine the ranking of competitors based on their results. The list of allowed formats per event is described in Regulation 9b. See Regulation 9f for a description of each format.
Advancement Condition
The number of competitors shown as advancing to the next round is the planned maximum. The actual number may be lower if there are fewer competitors than expected, or if there are ties at the boundary.
