Die Swiss Science Open 2026 im Technorama werden für Teilnehmer und Gäste ein Erlebnis. Neben der Speedcubing Competition im Foyer erwarten euch ganz viele Versuche aus der Welt der Physik im grössten interaktiven Museum der Schweiz.

The Swiss Science Open 2026 at Technorama will be an experience for participants and guests. In addition to the Speedcubing Competition in the foyer, many experiments from the world of physics await you in Switzerland's largest interactive museum.

The base registration fee for this competition is CHF25 (Swiss Franc).
Registration fees won't be refunded under any circumstance.
Registrants on the waiting list may be accepted onto the competitor list until .
If you are a registered competitor you may change your registered events until on the Register tab.
No on the spot registrations will be accepted.
Spectators can attend paying an entry fee of CHF25 (Swiss Franc).

Dort erwarten euch neben der Speedcubing Competition im Foyer ganz viele Versuche aus der Welt der Physik, welche ihr ausprobieren könnt.

Den personalisierten Batch erhaltet ihr beim Eingang des Technorama von 9-11Uhr.
Die Speedcubing Competition findet im 2.Stock Foyer statt. Im Erdgeschoss findet man ein Restaurant, in welchem man sich verpflegen kann.

Unoffizieller Event: Face Turning Octahedron (FTO) werden wir im Format best of 3 durchführen. Das Zeitlimit beträgt 5min. Keine Voranmeldung nötig, jeder kann mitmachen.
Da FTO erst im kommenden Jahr 2027 als offizieller Wettbewerb gelistet wird, werden die Resultate des FTO Wettbewerbes hier veröffentlicht:

We will hold an unofficial event the Face Turning Octahedron (FTO) in a best of 3 format. The time limit is 5 minutes. No pre-registration is needed, anyone can participate. Since FTO will only be listed as an official competition next year in 2027, the results of the FTO competition will be published here:
Time limit
If you reach the time limit during your solve, the judge will stop you and your result will be DNF (see Regulation A1a4).
A cumulative time limit may be enforced (see Regulation A1a2).
Cutoff
The result to beat to proceed to the second phase of a cutoff round (see Regulation 9g).
Format
The format describes how to determine the ranking of competitors based on their results. The list of allowed formats per event is described in Regulation 9b. See Regulation 9f for a description of each format.
Advancement Condition
The number of competitors shown as advancing to the next round is the planned maximum. The actual number may be lower if there are fewer competitors than expected, or if there are ties at the boundary.
