Information: Participants have to bring their own cube for the event.

* Make sure you will be available at the venue at least 30 minutes before your event starts. You won't be allowed to participate in an event under any circumstances if you reach late.
* If you're participating in a WCA competition for first time or not aware of competition rules, make sure that you attend the tutorial session.
* If you're participating in a WCA competition for first time, please bring your goverment ID card for verification.
* All the participants are requested to volunteer in the competition and every participant (except newcomers) will be assigned to a particular event they have to either judge, scramble, etc for the group/event.

The base registration fee for this competition is ₹500 (Indian Rupee).

How to Register if you are a First Time Participant :

Step 2: Register for the competition by browsing to the Speedcubing ESYA 2025 competition page and click on Register on the left hand side of the page.

Step 3: Scroll to the bottom of the page and select the events in which you want to participate in and hit on Register.
Make sure you select the exact number of events in which you want to participate and pay in the next step.

Step 4: Pay the registration fees at here and wait up to 48 hours for approval by the organizer.

How to Register if you are a Returning Participant :

Step 1: Sign-in using your email ID that you used for your previous competitions.

Step 2: Register for the competition by browsing to the Speedcubing ESYA 2025 competition page and click on Register on the left hand side of the page.

Step 3: Scroll to the bottom of the page and select the events in which you want to participate in and hit on Register.
Make sure you select the exact number of events in which you want to participate and pay in the next step.

There will NOT be any 'On the Spot' Registrations.

For those of you new to cubing, WELCOME!

We wanted to let you know this event is perfectly fine for cubers of ANY age and experience. We just ask you know a couple things before coming to compete...

FAQs

Q: Do I use my own cube to compete?
A: YES! You are responsible for your own hardware in order to compete. This means you should bring your own cube.

Q: What is the normal age of competitors at these events?
A: All ages are welcome, but in general competitors are between 10 and 20 years old. Don't let this stop you though, everyone can and should cube!

Q: How do I find results?
A: All results are posted on the WCA page within a week after the competition finishes. However, for the day of competing, go to https://live.worldcubeassociation.org to find information about current events. This is also where you will find information about upcoming rounds of events. Remember, the results are entered by a human so please be patient if you do not see your results immediately.

Q: Are there age divisions?
A: Nope! All competitors compete together.

Q: I want to attend, or I have friends/family who want to attend, but not compete. Do they need to pay as well?
A: No. All spectators are free to view the competition at no cost. There is payment only to compete. But in some cases, venue will be having restriction to allow spectators depending on the competition.

Q: Can I have fun at this event?
A: HECK YES! Cubing is amazing, and we sincerely hope you enjoy the competition!

From Airport

You can take a cab from the airport directly to the venue (approx 45 mins)

From Railway Station

The nearest railway station is New Delhi Railway Station
From there, you can take a cab directly to the venue (approx. 45 mins) or
You can take the metro at New Delhi Metro station to Central Secretariat on the Yellow line. Then change to the violet line and get off at Govindpuri Metro Station

From Metro

The nearest metro stations are Govind Puri Metro Station and Harkesh Nagar Okhla Metro Station
It takes 3 minutes from Govind Puri to reach the venure via car/auto and 12 minutes on foot
It takes 9 minutes from Harkesh Nagar Okhla to reach the venue via car/auto and 9 minutes on foot

Personal Vehicles

There is no parking available inside the campus
You can park your vehicle outside the campus

Food

Ordering food inside the venue is allowed, however participants will have to collect their orders at the main gate.
There are 2 shops for food at the venue as well as a Mother Dairy store

Time limit

If you reach the time limit during your solve, the judge will stop you and your result will be DNF (see Regulation A1a4).

Cutoff

The result to beat to proceed to the second phase of a cutoff round (see Regulation 9g).

Format

The format describes how to determine the ranking of competitors based on their results. The list of allowed formats per event is described in Regulation 9b. See Regulation 9f for a description of each format.
