ALL COMPETITORS

Please make sure to bring your Vaccination Card in case that the venue requires you to present it.

When you arrive at the competition venue, kindly follow the following steps:
1. Head to the registration table and sign on the competitor masterlist.
2. Get your Certificate of Participation, Event Schedule and grouping/officiating Team Assignment. You will be assigned to officiate at some point during the competition so be sure to take note of your assignement to avoid being disqualified. As per WCA Regulation 1e2, all competitors must be ready to officiate when called or assigned to. Declining such assignment merits disqualification at the discretion of the WCA Delegate.
3. Go inside the venue hall and wait for the competition to start.

In the case that there will be an allowance of time without any further delays affecting the period, this competition will be holding an additional MYSTERY ROUND!

Q: What does this mean?
A: If time allowing, all events with eight (8) or more participating competitors with successful solves will have an equal chance of gaining another round to provide competitors with another chance to improve their rankings.

Q: How will this be done?
A: All eligible events with eight (8) or more competitors with successful solves shall be pooled up and sorted through the random wheel picker, Wheel of Names. This platform allows the random selection of an event to add an additional round for, with each event having equal opportunity to be picked.

Q: How long is this process going to take?
A: The duration of the Mystery Round shall vary depending on the event chosen by Wheel of Names. This may range from at least fifteen to twenty (15-20) minutes for a shorter sprint event, or as long as one (1) hour for longer events such as Fewest Moves Challenge or Multiblind (MBLD). The organizers shall be responsible for handling any additional venue extension fees regarding this matter in the case that the Mystery Event shall be of a much longer nature.

However, if there is not enough time alotted for any type of additional event round including shorter events, running the Mystery Event shall not proceed, and all rounds of the competition shall proceed as planned.

Q: I already podiumed or won the event. What's gonna happen to me now that the event's going to get another round?

A: Your ranking for the first round will not be recognized by the final standing, and you shall instead be given another round to defend your position. Please note that participation in this final round is voluntary, and you may opt out of competing in the final round at any time.

Q: What if the Mystery Round seems like it's going to take long? I don't think I can stay long around for it.

A: Once again, participation in this final round is voluntary, and you may opt out of competing in the final round at any time if time is a limiting factor for you.

By registering and confirming your registration for this competition, you hereby agree to be subject to the proceedings of the Mystery Round if there be an allowance of time, regardless of round standing in the competition.
