Pēc 4 gadu pauzes Sigulda Open atgriežas, lai atkal pulcētu kopā gan lietpratējus, gan iesācējus vienā no Latvijas skaistākajām pilsētām - Siguldā!
Šīs būs pirmās Rubika kubu sacensības Siguldā, kas norisināsies divu dienu garumā.
Piedalīties var jebkura vecuma pārstāvji no jebkuras valsts.
After a 4-year pause, Sigulda Open returns to once again gather together both experts and beginners in one of Latvia's most beautiful cities - Sigulda!
This will be the first two day Rubik's cube competition in Sigulda.
Participants of any age from any country are allowed participate.

The base registration fee for this competition is €15 (Euro).
Registration fees won't be refunded under any circumstance.

No on the spot registrations will be accepted.
Any spectator can attend for free.

Mikus Lembergs won with an average of 8.50 seconds in the 3x3x3 Cube event. Rūdolfs Vīnkalns finished second (9.27) and Aleksejs Oglobļins finished third (9.76).

Free parking is located right next to the entrance door from the side of Raiņa Street. In addition, there is also another parking lot next to hotel "Sigulda".
The train/bus station is located 200 meters from the competition venue.

Each competitor must be familiar with the WCA Regulations.
It is also recommended to have a look at this video, as well as read through this WCA tutorial.
Each first-time competitor must have a valid form of ID with them for identification!
Time limit
If you reach the time limit during your solve, the judge will stop you and your result will be DNF (see Regulation A1a4).
A cumulative time limit may be enforced (see Regulation A1a2).
Cutoff
The result to beat to proceed to the second phase of a cutoff round (see Regulation 9g).
Format
The format describes how to determine the ranking of competitors based on their results. The list of allowed formats per event is described in Regulation 9b. See Regulation 9f for a description of each format.
