All 2023 Utah competitions are part of the Utah Cubing Cup. Competitors can earn points by competing and will win prizes at the end of the year.

The period to apply for student exemption makeup has closed.
Competitors attending the student makeup should be present during both makeup sessions. Any competitors who skip the student makeup period on Friday will not be eligible to make up any events held during the Friday makeup. We will hold 6x6 on Friday night during the student makeup period and are anticipating holding at least 1-2 other events during that time.
Information on makeup (registration):
We're excited to be able to hold so many events at this competition, and most college-aged competitors will be done with their semester. However, we recognize that K-12 school is still in session, and we don't want any students to need to skip school to compete. For competitors who have school on Friday, May 19th, we will provide accomodations so they can come Friday after school and Saturday during lunch to make up 6x6, 7x7, Megaminx, and Clock (Note: 6x6 must be made up during the first makeup session on Friday due to regulation 9l). We will allow 3x3 Multiple Blindfolded attempts to start late.
This exception is only available to K-12 students and must be requested through our form (removed as the deadline has passed) prior to Monday, May 8th at 6:00PM MDT.
Competitors who arrive late to the competition due to travel, as opposed to school, will not be permitted to makeup events at a later time.
Parking
Parking is free at the University of Utah on weekends; however, if you plan on parking on Friday then be aware that you will need to pay for a parking pass. For more info on parking at the University read this website.
Food and drink
Outside food or drink are prohibited (water bottles are fine).
Flash Photography
Flash photography is not allowed in order to avoid distracting our competitors.
Time limit
If you reach the time limit during your solve, the judge will stop you and your result will be DNF (see Regulation A1a4).
A cumulative time limit may be enforced (see Regulation A1a2).
A cumulative time limit may be enforced across rounds (see Guideline A1a2++).
Cutoff
The result to beat to proceed to the second phase of a cutoff round (see Regulation 9g).
Format
The format describes how to determine the ranking of competitors based on their results. The list of allowed formats per event is described in Regulation 9b. See Regulation 9f for a description of each format.
