From the organizers that brought you SacCubing, comes SacQuiet Winter 2025!
This competition will be specializing in quiet events and will not have 3x3 or any traditional events. If you would like to sign up for a competition involving those events, please check out SacCubing XIX 2024, happening on January 19th, the day after.
- If we run ahead of schedule, we will start first round events no earlier than 20 minutes, so please show up at least 20 minutes before your first event.
- We will be assigning judging assignments to competitors for the group before or after their own competing groups. Please check your personal competitor cards when we assign them a week before the competition date for relevant info.
- All donations are appreciated and will go towards things such as venue fees, supplies and other competition expenses.

There is a competitor limit of 20 competitors.
The base registration fee for this competition is $10 (United States Dollar).
The registration fee has to be paid through Stripe here once registered.
If your registration is cancelled before you will be refunded 100% of your registration fee.
Registrants on the waiting list may be accepted onto the competitor list until .
If you are a registered competitor you may change your registered events until by contacting the organization team.
No on the spot registrations will be accepted.
IMPORTANT: Only competitors with WCA IDs (i.e. people who have competed officially at least once) may register for this competition.
Registration Process
- The online registration period starts on Friday, November 8, 2024 at 5:00 PM PDT and ends on Friday, January 10, 2025 at 5:00 PM PDT. You may not register online before the start date or after the end date.
- If you have not competed before, create a WCA account here.
- Go to the Register link on the competition website.
- Fill out the events you will be competing in, any comments you may have about your registration, and press register.
- Pay the registration fee via Stripe on the competition website.
Competitors MUST pay their registration fee before being eligible for a spot in the competition. Those not paying their registration fee risk losing their spot to compete.
Waitlist
- If the competition is full, a message will be displayed saying such on the competition website. If, after this time, you register and pay for the competition, you will be added to the competition waitlist.
- If a competitor cancels their registration, the person at the top of the waitlist will be added to the competitor list.
- If you are on the waitlist, you may cancel your registration (see below) at any time for a full refund.
- If you are on the waitlist, you will be informed whether you have made it on the competitor list before Friday, January 10, 2025 at 5:00 PM PDT, otherwise you will be given a full refund.
Registration Changes/Deleting Registration
- If you would like to cancel your registration, email the organization team with your request and you will be refunded 100% of your registration fee. Refunds are available only until Friday, January 10, 2025 at 5:00 PM PDT.
- If you would like to edit your registered events or listed guests, you may do so on the Register page and clicking "Registration Details." You may also email the organization team for any additional questions. This can only be done prior to Friday, January 10, 2025 at 5:00 PM PDT.
All competitors, staff included, are required to pay the registration fee. Registration will not be accepted until the registration fee is paid. If you would like to be on staff, please indicate in your comments.

Time limit
If you reach the time limit during your solve, the judge will stop you and your result will be DNF (see Regulation A1a4).
A cumulative time limit may be enforced (see Regulation A1a2).
Format
The format describes how to determine the ranking of competitors based on their results. The list of allowed formats per event is described in Regulation 9b. See Regulation 9f for a description of each format.
