Ensure your availability at the venue before the cruise starts at 10AM. Once the cruise starts, we won't be able to accommodate more onboarders.
Once we enter the cruise boat, we can leave only upon the end of the event at 6PM.
Traditional Kerala food will be included in the registration fees, and no outside food will be permitted inside the venue.
If you're participating in a WCA competition for first time, please bring your ID card as well.
The competitors have to strictly adhere to the safety guidelines of the cruise.

There is a competitor limit of 50 competitors.
The base registration fee for this competition is ₹2,000 (Indian Rupee).
Registration fees won't be refunded under any circumstance.
Registrants on the waiting list may be accepted onto the competitor list until .
If you are a registered competitor you may change your registered events until on the Register tab.
On the spot registrations will be accepted if there are remaining spots available, with a base registration fee of ₹2,500 (Indian Rupee).
Spectators can attend paying an entry fee of ₹1,300 (Indian Rupee).

Get ready for an unforgettable cubing experience on the waters! 🚢🧊 Before you register, please take note of the following important details:
👨👩👧👦 Age Requirement:
All participants under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a responsible adult (18+) throughout the event.
⏰ Boarding Time:
The houseboat will depart sharply at 10:00 AM.
🚫 No late entries will be permitted once the cruise sets sail.
We strongly recommend arriving by 9:30 AM to ensure smooth check-in and boarding.
🛳️ Cruise Duration:
Once the cruise begins, it will continue until 6:00 PM.
Participants and guests will only be able to disembark at the end of the cruise.
📵 Connectivity Note:
Mobile network may be limited while on the water, so plan accordingly.
🎟️ Guest Policy:
Each accompanying guest is required to pay a guest fee of ₹1300.
This includes premium refreshments and Lunch
❗ Entry for guests will not be permitted without prior payment of this fee.
🍽️ Food & Amenities:
The registration fee includes food and refreshments for the duration of the event.

For those of you new to cubing, WELCOME!
We wanted to let you know this event is perfectly fine for cubers of ANY age and experience. We just ask you know a couple things before coming to compete...
First, please be familiar with the WCA Regulations, found here:

So we have a video made specifically for new cubers, just to show them the basics of competing. This video will explain most of what any cuber competing for the first time will need to know.

FAQs
Q: Do I use my own cube to compete?
A: YES! You are responsible for your own hardware in order to compete. This means you should bring your own cube.
Q: What is the normal age of competitors at these events?
A: All ages are welcome, but in general competitors are between 10 and 20 years old. Don't let this stop you though, everyone can and should cube!
Q: How do I find results?
A: All results are posted on the WCA page within a week after the competition finishes. However, for the day of competing, go to https://live.worldcubeassociation.org to find information about current events. This is also where you will find information about upcoming rounds of events. Remember, the results are entered by a human so please be patient if you do not see your results immediately.
Q: Are there age divisions?
A: Nope! All competitors compete together.
Q: Can I have fun at this event?
A: HECK YES! Cubing is amazing, and we sincerely hope you enjoy the competition!

Travel
Note: Uber and Ola are not available in Alappuzha. But don't worry you can take local autos.
Nearest airport: Cochin International Airport (COK) - approx 85 kms from the venue.
(Auto rickshaws and buses to Alappuzha are easily available for transport. You can also avail the taxi service but that might be expensive).
Nearest Railway Station: Alappuzha Railway Station (APY) - approx 8 kms from the venue. (auto rickshaw, Bus and taxi services are available).
Nearest Bus Stand: Alappuzha KSRTC Bus Stand - 4 kms from the venue. (auto rickshaw services are available).
The competition is happening at Punnamada region of Alappuzha, and buses are very limited towards Punnamada.

The board in the buses will be written in the regional language.

Food:
There will be a basic south-Indian menu serverd on board. This meal is covered in your registration fee and guest fee. Outside food is strictly prohibited inside the venue.

Time limit
If you reach the time limit during your solve, the judge will stop you and your result will be DNF (see Regulation A1a4).
Cutoff
The result to beat to proceed to the second phase of a cutoff round (see Regulation 9g).
