Q: Hoe schrijf ik mij in?
A: Nooit eerder aan een wedstrijd meegedaan? Maak eerst een WCA account aan. Zodra je een account hebt kun je registreren op het tabblad aanmelden .
Als je al een keer eerder hebt meegedaan heb je al een account. Op het tabblad aanmelden kan je je inschrijven.
In beide gevallen: vergeet niet te betalen.

Q: Ik heb mij ingeschreven en ik heb betaald maar ik ben nog niet toegelaten. Hoe zit dat?
A: Deelnemers worden toegevoegd aan de wedstrijd op volgorde van het moment van inschrijven op de WCA website. Het kost wat tijd om iedereen toe te voegen aan de wedstrijd. Als de wedstrijd al vol zit, zetten we je op de wachtlijst. Mocht er voor de deadline nog een plekje vrijkomen dan voegen we vanaf deze lijst weer toe. Kun je niet meer meedoen maar heb je wel betaald? Meld je af voor de deadline, dan storten wij het inschrijfgeld weer terug. Als je op de wachtlijst blijft staan gaat dit automatisch. Het kan zijn, als de wachtlijst groot genoeg is, dat we de betalingen dichtzetten. Alle deadlines zijn te vinden op het informatie tabblad.

Q: Hoe schrijf ik me uit, of verander ik de onderdelen waaraan ik meedoe?
A: Beide kun je doen op het tabblad aanmelden . Om je uit te schrijven moet je op de knop Verwijder aanmelding klikken. Voor het veranderen van je onderdelen klik je op Bijwerken aanmelding. Als je je uitschrijft voor de deadline storten wij het inschrijfgeld weer terug. Ook het veranderen van je onderdelen moet voor een deadline gebeuren. Alle deadlines kun je vinden op het tabblad informatie.

Q: Kan ik komen om te kijken als ik niet mee doe?
A: Absoluut! Komen kijken is gratis en gezellig.

Q: Zijn er verschillende leeftijdsgroepen?
A: Nee. Alle deelnemers zitten in een en dezelfde groep.

Q: Hoe snel moet ik zijn om mee te mogen doen?
A: Als je de kubus kunt oplossen mag je meedoen, maar kijk even naar de onderdelen op het tabblad informatie. Als je over de tijdslimiet gaat, wordt je poging gestopt.

Q: Welke kubus gebruik ik gedurende de wedstrijd?
A: Je gebruikt je eigen kubus. Zorg ervoor dat deze voldoet aan de WCA regels. Als je niet zeker weet of je je kubus mag gebruiken, kun je gedurende of voor de wedstrijd een delegate vragen of je kubus voldoet.

Q: Wanneer doe ik mee?
A: Je kunt je persoonlijke schema vinden op competitiongroups.com en op de badge die je aan het begin van de wedstrijd van ons krijgt.

Q: Waar kan ik de resultaten vinden?
A: Gedurende de wedstrijd kun je de resultaten vinden op WCA Live. Na de wedstrijd kun je die resultaten ook terugvinden op je WCA profiel, maar het kan soms even duren voordat ze er staan.

Q: Hoe weet ik wanneer de volgende wedstrijd is?
A: Alle wedstrijden zijn te vinden op de WCA website. Wedstrijden die wij organiseren zijn ook te vinden op de website: https://www.kubuswedstrijden.nl. Je kunt ons ook op Instagram volgen of inschrijven voor de nieuwsbrief om meteen updates te krijgen.

Q: How do I register?
A: First timers: start by creating a WCA account. Once you have created the account you can go to the Register page and register (once it is open).
Non-First timers: log into your WCA account and go to the Register page and register (once it is open).
In both cases: do not forget to pay.

Q: I've registered and paid but I'm not accepted?
A: If you have completed your registration you are on the pending registrations list. From here we accept those that paid in order of the registration time on the WCA website. This is done manually and may take some time. If the competition is full but your registration is complete, you will be put on the waiting list. From here, if a spot becomes available before the deadline, you can still be accepted. If not, you will not be accepted, but will get a refund. When you no longer wish to participate let us know before the deadline to get a refund. If the waiting list becomes too big we may close the payment form. All deadlines are found on the info page.

Q: How do I delete my registration or change my events?
A: Both can be done on the Register page. For deleting your registration you have to notify us, you cannot do this yourself, but you can change your events. You can only get a refund before the deadline. Changing events can only be done before the deadline. All deadlines are found on the info page.

Q: Can I come to spectate (only)?
A: Yes! There is no fee for spectators.

Q: Are there different age categories?
A: No, all competitors compete in the same group.

Q: How fast do I have to be to compete?
A: If you can solve it you are fast enough. But check out the Events tab on the Info page. If you go over the time limit you will be asked to stop your attempt.

Q: Which cube do I use to compete?
A: You have to bring your own cubes. Please make sure they follow the WCA regulations. If you are unsure, you can ask the delegates at the competition or contact us beforehand.

Q: When do I need to compete?
A: You can find your personal schedule a few days before the competiton on competitiongroups.com. At the competition you will also get a printed our personal schedule.
First timers: we also have a competitors tutorial. We highly advise you to follow this, not only to learn how to compete, but also how to staff and to ask any questions you might have. Please check the time schedule tab on the info page.

Q: Where do I find the results?
A During the competition you can find live results on WCA Live. After the competition your results will be on your WCA profile.

Q: How do I know when the next competition is?
A: You can keep a close eye on the competitions listed on the WCA website and on https://www.kubuswedstrijden.nl, but you can also subscribe to our mailing list or follow us on Instagram to be notified!

Deelnemers voor de eerste keer

1. Breng een identiteitsbewijs mee. Dit moet een officieel document zijn zoals een paspoort, ID-kaart of rijbewijs.
2. Wees aanwezig bij de Tutorial for new competitors. Deze staat aangegeven op het tabblad Tijdschema op het Informatie tabblad en is verplicht voor nieuwe deelnemers.
3. Lees de WCA Regels. Het is een (redelijk) lang document dat je zeker niet in je hoofd hoeft te stampen, maar het is goed om het in ieder geval één keer te lezen.

Alle deelnemers

1. Tijschema: Het tijdschema kan soms iets worden aangepast tijdens de competitie. Soms lopen we iets voor, soms iets achter. Wees voor de zekerheid 20 minuten van te voren aanwezig in de venue voordat jouw groep begint.
2. Jureren: In tegenstelling tot onze "normale" wedstrijden, hebben we dit keer STAFF. Als normale deelnemer hoef je dus niet te helpen met runnen/judgen/scramblen. Wil je dit toch heel graag? Kom het dan even vragen aan de organisatie. Meestal is extra hulp altijd wel welkom. Weet je nu al dat je wilt helpen? Schrijf dan in als STAFF via het formulier op het tabblad Vrijwilligers. Ouders, dit geldt ook voor jullie, het is makkelijker dan je wellicht denkt en de hulp is altijd erg fijn!
3. Schrijven: Schrijf duidelijk de tijden op en signeer met je competitor ID. Je ID kan je vinden op je badge.

First time competitors

1. Bring some form of ID. This must be an official document, like a passport, an ID card, or a drivers licence.
2. Attend the Tutorial for new competitors. It is listed in the schedule tab on the info page, and is considered a requirement for all new competitors.
3. Read the WCA Regulations. It is a (somewhat) long document and you definitely do not need to know it by heart, but it is good practise to at least have read it once.

For all competitors

1. Schedule: Please note that the schedule can change slighly during the competition. We may be slightly ahead or behind. To be sure: be inside the venue at least 20 minutes before your group is supposed to start.
2. Staffing: Unlike our normal competitions we have STAFF this time. As a normal competitor you do not need to help out judging/running/scrambling. Do you really want to regardless? Please approach the organisation during the competition. Do you already know that you want to help? Sign up as STAFF using the form on the Volunteers tab. Parents, if you want to do more than spectate, it is easier than you think and we always appreciate the help!
3. Writing: Please write clearly and sign with your competitor ID. You can find your ID on your badge.

Beste cuber,

Als organisatie hadden wij de ambitie om bij Rubik's Dutch Nationals 2025 dedicated staff te doen. Helaas hebben hier te weinig mensen zich voor aangemeld. Ook kleinschaligere plannen zijn helaas niet mogelijk. Dat betekent dat we het op de gebruikelijke manier moeten doen.

Geen STAFF
Iedereen zal dus voor elke ronde waar ze aan mee doen ook een keer moeten judgen/runnen/scramblen. Als jij graag aan alle onderdelen mee wilt doen, kan dit een lange dag worden. Houd hier van te voren rekening mee door goed naar het tijdschema te kijken en wellicht een onderdeel minder te doen. Inschrijven betekent meehelpen, en we rekenen dan ook op je.

Paar kleine aanpassingen
Een aantal delen van het tijdschema waren enkel mogelijk met dedicated staff. Deze zullen binnenkort worden aangepast (of zijn net aangepast). Kijk hiervoor dus nog even goed naar de WCA website. Tip: op het oude tijdschema staan 6x6 en 7x7 los van elkaar. In het nieuwe tijdschema overlappen deze.

Verder hebben wij er nog steeds heel veel zin in!

Dear cuber,

As organizers, we had the ambition to have dedicated staff at Rubik's Dutch Nationals 2025. Unfortunately, too few people signed up for this. Smaller-scale plans are also unfortunately not possible. This means we have to do it the usual way.

No STAFF
Everyone will have to judge/run/scramble once for each round they participate in. If you want to participate in all the events, this could become a long day. Keep this in mind by checking the schedule and perhaps doing one event less. Registering means helping out, and we count on you.

A few minor adjustments
Some parts of the schedule were only possible with dedicated staff. These will be adjusted soon (or have just been adjusted). So please check the WCA website carefully for more information. Tip: 6x6 and 7x7 are separate on the old schedule. In the new schedule, they overlap.

Onofficiële events
Als je mee wilt doen aan de onofficiële events (Team BLD en Cube Mile) vragen we je om het volgende formulier in te vullen: https://forms.gle/3u9P7ygBkViFx7yC6.
Zo blijven de aanmeldingen voor ons overzichtelijk. Iedereen mag zich inschrijven, het is dus niet exclusief voor deelnemers.

Het formulier sluit op vrijdag 5 september 20:00. Niet opgegeven en toch nog willen meedoen? Dat kan alleen als er nog plek is gedurende de dag.

TeamBLD
Bij Team Blindfolded werk je samen met een partner om een kubus op te lossen. Hierbij is één iemand geblinddoekt en geeft de andere competitor instructies. Voorafgaande de officiële 3x3 finale vindt de TeamBLD finale plaats met de 10 beste koppels.

Cube Mile
Tijdens de Cube Mile los je in totaal 4 keer de 3x3x3 kubus op en ren je 4 rondjes om de baan (1609m in totaal), in deze volgorde: oplossen, rondje, oplossen, rondje, etc.. Er is geen inspectietijd.

Kubusmozaïek
Tijdens de kubusmozaïek activiteit heb je een uur de tijd om een zelf ontworpen mozaïek te bouwen van maximaal 400 kubussen. Dit doe je met maximaal een team van 4 personen. Stel een team samen, bedenk een leuke teamnaam en reserveer zo snel mogelijk een tijdvak via yinte@kubuswedstrijden.nl!

De kubussen moeten compleet blijven en je mag geen andere objecten gebruiken in de mozaïek. Het ontwerp mag iedere vorm hebben (maximaal 50 kubussen naast elkaar). Je hoeft niet alle 400 kubussen te gebruiken; bedenk goed wat je met je team aan kan!

Je hebt 55 minuten om het mozaïek te bouwen. De laatste 5 minuten van je tijdvak zijn voor het fotograferen van het eindresultaat door de jurylid. De mozaïeken worden beoordeeld door een onafhankelijke jury van 3 personen.

Ieder jurylid geeft een rapportcijfer van 1-10 gebaseerd op originaliteit, complexiteit en uitvoering (ook halve punten zijn mogelijk). De totale score van de 3 juryleden is het resultaat per team!

This helps us keep the registrations organized. Anyone can sign up — it’s not limited to competitors.

The form will close on Friday, September 5 at 20:00. Didn’t sign up but still want to participate? That’s only possible if there’s space left during the day.

TeamBLD
In Team Blindfolded, you work with a partner to solve a cube. One person is blindfolded and receives instructions from the other competitor.
The TeamBLD final will take place before the official 3x3 final and will include the 10 best teams.

Cube Mile
In the Cube Mile, you solve the 3x3x3 cube four times and run four laps around the track (a total of 1609m), in this order: solve, run, solve, run, and so on.
There is no inspection time.

Cube Mosaic
During the cube mosaic activity, you’ll have one hour to build your own mosaic design using up to 400 cubes. You can participate in a team of up to 4 people.
Form a team, come up with a fun team name, and book a time slot as soon as possible via yinte@kubuswedstrijden.nl.

The cubes must remain intact, and you may not use any other objects in the mosaic. The design can take any shape, up to 50 cubes wide. You don’t have to use all 400 cubes — make sure your plan matches your team’s capacity.

You have 55 minutes to build the mosaic. The last 5 minutes of your time slot are for the judge to take a photo of the final result.

The mosaics will be evaluated by an independent jury of three people.

Each judge gives a score from 1 to 10 based on originality, complexity, and execution (half points are allowed). The total of the three scores is your team’s final result.

Openbaar Vervoer
Vanaf station "Arnhem Centraal" vertrekken verschillende bussen met een halte in de buurt van de venue. Neem lijn 7 naar "Geitenkamp. Stap uit bij "Roerdomplaan" (8 min lopen) of "Geitenkamp" (6 min lopen). Of neem lijn 8 en stap uit bij "CIOS" (5 min lopen).

Auto/parkeren
Aan de voorzijde van het sportcentrum is parkeergelegenheid. Wij raden aan bij drukte gebruik te maken van P2, een grote parkeerplaats aan de achterzijde van het complex en niet te parkeren in de woonwijk. P2 is bereikbaar via de "Monnikensteeg". Beide parkeergelegenheden zijn gratis.

Public Transport
Several buses leave from the train station "Arnhem Centraal" and have a stop near the venue. Take line 7 to "Geitenkamp", get off at "Roerdomplaan" (8 min walking) or "Geitenkamp" (6 min walking). Alternatively, take line 8 and get off at "CIOS" (5 min walking).

Car/parking
There is parking available at the front of the sports center. In case of heavy traffic, we recommend using P2, a large parking lot located at the rear of the complex, and avoid parking in the residential area. P2 is accessible via "Monnikensteeg". Both parking areas are free of charge.
