Purwokerto Side Events is a unique speedcubing competition because it hosts all the "twisty puzzle" events in just 1 day. This competition is also open to anyone and from citizens of any country.
All competitors will receive a certificate and souvenirs.

Purwokerto Side Events adalah kompetisi speedcubing yang unik karena menyelenggarakan semua events "twisty puzzle" hanya dalam 1 hari. Kompetisi ini juga terbuka untuk siapa saja dan dari warga negara mana saja.

There is a competitor limit of 60 competitors.
The base registration fee for this competition is Rp140,000 (Indonesian Rupiah).
If your registration is cancelled before you will be refunded 50% of your registration fee.
Registrants on the waiting list may be accepted onto the competitor list until .
If you are a registered competitor you may change your registered events until by contacting the organization team.
No on the spot registrations will be accepted.
Any spectator can attend for free.
Registration Fee
Registration fee to join Purwokerto Side Events 2025 is subjected to the number of events.
1-2 events = Rp140.000 / USD 10.00
3-4 events = Rp160.000 / USD 11.00
5-7 events = Rp180.000 / USD 12.00Registration Procedure

5. Confirmation format: (name of competitor)-(the list of events competed)-(date of birth {DDMMYYYY})

Refund Policy
1. Competitor must follow the refund policy procedures.
2. Refund can only be done within one of these scenarios:
* Refund can only be done when the registration has been accepted and completed but unable to attend the competition, or
* Competition has reached the limit of competitors, or
* Competition was cancelled due to force majeure
3. The amount that can be refunded is 50% of the registration fee
4. Bank administration fee borne by competitor
5. Competitor can request a refund to the organizer before the deadline, if it passes the deadline then the registration fee cannot be refunded----------

Kebijakan Refund
1. Peserta wajib mematuhi prosedur kebijakan refund
2. Pengembalian dana hanya dapat dilakukan dalam salah satu skenario berikut:
* Pengembalian dana hanya dapat dilakukan jika pendaftaran telah diterima dan diselesaikan tetapi tidak dapat menghadiri kompetisi, atau
* Kompetisi telah mencapai batas jumlah peserta, atau
* Kompetisi dibatalkan karena keadaan kahar
3. Jumlah uang yang dapat dikembalikan adalah 50% dari biaya pendaftaran
4. Biaya administrasi bank ditanggung peserta
5. Peserta dapat mengajukan refund kepada organizer sebelum waktu deadline, jika melewati waktu deadline maka uang pendaftaran tidak dapat di refund - Highlights

Pre-Competition
- We highly recommend all competitors to be familiar with WCA Regulations.
- Please check all page tabs on this website to understand the terms and conditions of this competition.
- Competitor must be present at the venue during the competitor tutorial as we will be doing a demo and explaining some basic WCA regulations.
- Competitor must to be ready at least 30 minutes before your event/group starts, as we might run the competition ahead of schedule.
- Competitor will not be able to compete in events/group if you are not on time or missed the last call during that event/group.
Competition Tutorial
We will be having a competitor tutorial on the competition day. However, we highly recommend all first-timers to watch this Tutorial Video to understand how solving in a competition works. It is also important to check WCA Regulations to make sure that you are familiar with the all regulations.

Sebelum Kompetisi

- Peserta harus siap setidaknya 30 menit sebelum events/grup giliran Anda dimulai, karena kami mungkin menjalankan kompetisi lebih cepat dari jadwal.
- Peserta tidak diperbolehkan mengikuti suatu events/grup jika Anda tidak tepat waktu atau melewatkan panggilan terakhir pada events/grup tersebut.
Tutorial Kompetisi
Kami akan mengadakan tutorial untuk peserta baru pada hari kompetisi. Namun, kami sangat menyarankan semua peserta baru untuk menonton Video Tutorial untuk memahami cara kerja selama berkompetisi. Penting juga untuk memeriksa Regulasi WCA untuk memastikan bahwa peserta memahami seluruh peraturan dalam berkompetisi.

Getting to the Venue
There are several ways to get to the venue:
Private Vehicle
Competitors can use private vehicles, either two-wheeled or four-wheeled. Use Google Maps to easily reach the venue. Parking is available for two-wheeled vehicles in the basement with a capacity of up to 25 motorcycles, while four-wheeled vehicles can be parked in the basement with a capacity of up to 10 cars and in the outdoor area in front of the lobby with a capacity of up to 8 cars. There is no parking fee and security is on duty 24 hours a day.
Public Transportation
Train
Competitors can take public transportation by train to Purwokerto Station. Then, to continue their destination to the venue, competitors can use an online motorcycle taxi or online taxi.
Bus
Competitors can take public transportation by bus to Bulupitu Terminal, Purwokerto. Then, to continue their destination to the venue, competitors can use an online motorcycle taxi or online taxi.
Online Motorcycle Taxi / Online Taxi
Competitors can use an online motorcycle taxi or online taxi. Type "Toyo Hotel" or "Toyo Hotel Purwokerto" in the destination location search bar to reach the venue. The drop-off area is in front of the hotel.

Cara Menuju ke Venue
Ada beberapa cara untuk menuju venue:
Kendaraan pribadi
Peserta dapat menggunakan kendaraan pribadi, baik roda 2 atau pun roda 4. Gunakan Google Maps untuk mempermudah mencapai venue. Lahan parkir tersedia untuk roda 2 di basement dengan kapasitas hingga 25 motor, sedangkan roda 4 dapat di basement dengan kapasitas hingga 10 mobil dan di area outdoor depan lobby dengan kapasitas hingga 8 mobil. Tidak ada biaya parkir dan satpam berjaga 24 jam.
Transportasi Umum
Kereta Api
Peserta dapat menggunakan transportasi umum kereta api dengan tujuan Stasiun Purwokerto. Kemudian, untuk melanjutkan perjalanan ke venue, peserta dapat menggunakan ojek online atau taxi online.
Bus
Peserta dapat menggunakan transportasi umum Bus dengan tujuan Terminal Bulupitu Purwokerto. Kemudian, untuk melanjutkan perjalanan ke venue, peserta dapat menggunakan ojek online atau taxi online.

Peserta dapat menggunakan ojek online maupun taxi online. Ketik "Toyo Hotel" atau "Toyo Hotel Purwokerto" pada kolom pencarian lokasi tujuan untuk dapat mencapai lokasi venue. Area drop off berada di depan hotel.

Time limit
If you reach the time limit during your solve, the judge will stop you and your result will be DNF (see Regulation A1a4).
Cutoff
The result to beat to proceed to the second phase of a cutoff round (see Regulation 9g).

The format describes how to determine the ranking of competitors based on their results. The list of allowed formats per event is described in Regulation 9b. See Regulation 9f for a description of each format.
