Quiet Events Only
The only events held at this competition are blindfolded and fewest move events, which require a significant amount of concentration. All attendees, including competitors and guests, are asked to remain AS QUIET AS POSSIBLE throughout the day to allow competitors to concentrate.
Note for New Competitors
Although first-timers are welcome to compete if they can solve puzzles blindfolded, this competition is not the traditional WCA competition experience. Please consider registering for another competition, such as UMBC Fall 2025, if this one isn't for you.

There is a competitor limit of 30 competitors.
The base registration fee for this competition is $10 (United States Dollar).
If your registration is cancelled before you will be refunded 90% of your registration fee.
Registrants on the waiting list may be accepted onto the competitor list until .
If you are a registered competitor you may change your registered events until on the Register tab.
No on the spot registrations will be accepted.
Spectators are only permitted as companions of competitors.
Competitors may bring at most 1 guest.
To prevent overcrowding in the venue, we are limiting each competitor to one guest only.
Competition is free for all UMBC students, staff, and faculty. Even though everyone will pay the $20 registration, we are allowing all UMBC students, staff, and faculty to participate free-of-charge by refunding their registration. In order to verify that you are a UMBC student, we ask that you fill out this form with your UMBC email, so that we can verify.
Please keep in mind that registrations are approved manually after payment, so your registration may not be approved immediately.
Your registration is not complete until your registration fee has been paid.
All competitiors must read the "Competitor Responsibilities" tab.WAITLIST INFORMATION:
If the competitor limit of 30 has been reached, you can still register and pay the registration fee to secure a spot on the waitlist. During the registration period, any competitor can cancel their registration and allow the first person on the waitlist to take their spot. If you find that you cannot make it to the competition after registering, please contact us so that we can maximize attendance.
All registrants still on the waitlist after the registration period will have their registrations deleted, and will be fully refunded.
We may completely close registration if the waitlist becomes very large. - Highlights

Liam Chen won with a single solve of 16.75 seconds in the 3x3x3 Blindfolded event. Currin Wilson finished second (1:12.90) and Daniel Greigg finished third (2:24.50).
