This is a quiet events competition. We will NOT be holding usual events like 3x3. If you are a new competitor or looking for more normal events, this probably isn't for you, and you may want to check out other competitions, such as Empire State Winter A and B.
Please make sure to review the COVID Safety tab. If COVID cases rise, we may need to cancel this competition; competitors will be notified by email in that case.

There is a competitor limit of 20 competitors.
The base registration fee for this competition is $15 (United States Dollar).
If your registration is cancelled before you will be refunded 50% of your registration fee.
Registrants on the waiting list may be accepted onto the competitor list until .
If you are a registered competitor you may change your registered events until on the Register tab.
No on the spot registrations will be accepted.
Spectators are only permitted as companions of competitors.
Your Registration is not complete until you have paid via Stripe.
We will be requiring proof of a negative COVID-19 test within 96 hours of the competition or proof of full vaccination to enter the competition. Competitors without either will not be allowed in under any circimstance!

The closest public transit stop is the Massachusetts Ave Opp Marrett Road stop on the 62/76 bus.
Please note that the following restrictions will be in place:
-Competitors may bring at most one guest, and competitors are strongly encouraged to not bring a guest if possible. Please note in the survey sent out a week before the competition whether you plan to have a spectator join you. The only events at this competition are Fewest Moves, and 4x4x4/5x5x5 Blindfolded which are very boring to spectators.
-Everyone must wear a mask at all times, covering both nose and mouth.
-The competition may be cancelled if the COVID situation in the US or Massachusetts gets worse.
-If you have COVID, or are instructed to quarantine after close contact with someone who tests positive, do not attend the competition.
-Competitors who choose not to follow these restrictions will be disqualified and will need to leave the venue.
-We will be requiring proof of a negative COVID-19 test within 96 hours of the competition or proof of full vaccination to enter the competition. Competitors without either will not be allowed in under any circimstance! To clarify, an individual is only considered fully vaccinated if they have received their second dose of a two-dose vaccine (Pfizer or Moderna) or their only dose of a single-dose vaccine (J&J) more than two weeks before the competition. Any dose received after Saturday, January 1st, 2021 is insufficient for entrance to the competition.

I've never attended a competition before. Should I attend this one?
Newcomers are welcome! Please note, though, that we're not holding the normal speedsolving events that you're used to. Please make sure to familiarize yourself with the rules of Fewest Moves solving.

Will you be adding any other events?
Due to venue availability, these are unfortunately the only events we are able to hold.

Time limit
If you reach the time limit during your solve, the judge will stop you and your result will be DNF (see Regulation A1a4).
A cumulative time limit may be enforced (see Regulation A1a2).

The format describes how to determine the ranking of competitors based on their results. The list of allowed formats per event is described in Regulation 9b. See Regulation 9f for a description of each format.
