This competition is part of the Pikes Peak 2026 Competition Series. Other competitions in this Series are: Note: You can submit a registration for all competitions in a Series, but only one of those registrations can be confirmed and accepted. You will only be allowed to compete in one of the Series competitions!
There is a competitor limit of 50 competitors.
The base registration fee for this competition is $25 (United States Dollar).
The registration fee has to be paid through Stripe here once registered.
If your registration is cancelled before you will be refunded 50% of your registration fee.

We encourage everyone to register for the events they want to compete in via your online registration, however you may add events to your registration up until the event has started.
On the spot registrations will be accepted if there are remaining spots available, with a base registration fee of $30 (United States Dollar).

  • To register for this competition, you must complete the online registration (see the Register tab on the left of the screen, or near the top on mobile) by selecting your desired events, and then paying the registration fee. Once you complete online payment, check your email for a receipt - this confirmes that your payment went through. If you encounter any trouble with this process, please contact the organization team via the Contact link above.

  • If you find out you won't be able to attend this competition after registering, please let us know! You can do this through the same Contact link above, and it lets us give your spot to another competitor. You will receive a 50% refund of your registration fee if you cancel before the deadline (July 19 at 6PM MT).

  • On-the-spot (OTS) registration is currently enabled for this competition. However, we encourage that if you plan to attend, that you register online ahead of time. This saves us work, and saves you some money (registering OTS costs $5 more than if you register online). If at any point this competition reaches the competitor limit of 50, this will be turned off and will not be turned on again, even if competitors cancel their registrations. Additionally, the organization team reserves the right to turn off OTS registration at any point. Please check the website before coming to the competition to ensure that OTS is still on, if you are planning to register day-of.

All competitors must read this tab before registering.

Competitions rely on volunteers to happen! All the staff at competitions are volunteers, and we need your help to have a successful competition. Helping out by running and judging is invaluable and keeps the competition on schedule. Everyone can help, this includes first time competitors and even siblings and parents! Staffing is easy and we are happy to help get you started, and it is a great way to make time fly!

Before the competition, you will receive assignments to compete, as well as to staff (judging, running, or possibly scrambling). You are required to show up for these staffing assignments unless you communicate with the organizers of the competition prior to the assignment. Failure to do so may result in disqualification from one or multiple events.

For second rounds and finals, we will not have assigned staff, and we will rely on volunteers to make the competition run. We really appreciate it if we get volunteers, but if you are asked to staff by a delegate when you are available you must do so to avoid the same risk of disqualification.

By registering, you agree that you understand and will follow all the information listed above.

This competition is part of a series with Pikes Peak AM 2026. You are only allowed to register for one of the two competitions in the series. If you attempt to register for both, the registration completed second will be canceled and refunded. If you wish to change which competition you are registered for, first cancel the first registration, then register for the other competition.

If you have any questions about how series competitions work, please use the Contact link on the General Info tab to get a hold of us - we'd be happy to answer any questions you might have!

For those of you new to cubing, welcome! We just ask that you know a couple things before coming to compete:
First, please be familiar with the WCA Regulations, found here.

Here are some frequently asked questions:

Q: Are there any restrictions on competing?
A: Nope! Anyone of any skill can compete in this competition, including first-timers. As long as you know how to solve the cube, go ahead and sign up!

Q: Do spectators have to pay?
A: No! All spectators are let into building for free.

Q: Do I use my own cube to compete?
A: Yes! You are responsible for your own hardware in order to compete. We heavily discourage borrowing or sharing other people's cubes at the competition.

Q: How do I find results?
A: All results are posted on the WCA page a couple of days after the competition finishes. However, during the competition, you can go to wca.link/live to find information about current events.

Q: Why am I not on the registration list yet?
A: When you register, make sure you have paid the registration fee. Afterwards, your registration must then be manually accepted, so please wait at least 24 hours before contacting us. You should receive an email when your registration is accepted.

Q: What is the normal age of competitors at these events?
A: All ages are welcome, but in general competitors are between 10 and 20 years old. Don't let this stop you though, everyone can cube!

Q: Are there age divisions?
A: No! All competitors are on an equal playing field.

If you have any other questions, feel free to contact us by using the contact links on the general info page!
