The base registration fee for this competition is $6,000 (Chilean Peso).
If your registration is cancelled before you will be refunded 50% of your registration fee.
Registrants on the waiting list may be accepted onto the competitor list until .
If you are a registered competitor you may change your registered events until by contacting the organization team.
On the spot registrations will be accepted with a base registration fee of $7,000 (Chilean Peso).
Any spectator can attend for free.

Paso 1: Registro en el sitio web de la competencia.
Iniciar Sesión en WCA: Si ya tienes una cuenta, inicia sesión en la plataforma de la WCA. Si eres nuevo y no tienes una cuenta, regístrate en la WCA.
Registro: Una vez iniciada la sesión, dirígete a la pestaña de registro. En la parte inferior de la página, encontrarás un recuadro azul. Aquí podrás elegir las categorías en las que deseas competir e indicar el número de acompañantes que te acompañarán al campeonato. Después de completar, haz clic en el botón "Register!".
Confirmación: Una vez que completes el registro correctamente, llegará un correo de confirmación y ya estarás en la lista de espera en espera de aprobación.

Step 1: Registration on the competition website.
Sign in to WCA: If you already have an account, log in to the WCA platform. If you are new and do not have an account, register on the WCA.
Registration: Once logged in, go to the registration tab. At the bottom of the page, you will find a blue box. Here you can choose the categories in which you want to compete and indicate the number of accompanying guests who will join you at the championship. After completing, click the "Register!" button.
Confirmation: Once you have completed the registration correctly, a confirmation email will arrive, and you will be on the waiting list pending approval.
Step 2: Payment.
Payment: To be approved, you must pay the registration fee ($6,000 CLP). The details to make the payment will be sent to the email addresses you provided when registering on the WCA platform. The email will be sent within the next 48 hours, and they will be sent in order of registration.
Confirmation: You will be notified by email when you are approved. In case of any issues, contact: fheckersdorf@worldcubeassociation.org.
Additional: Remember that this competition is part of the WCA Newcomer Month, so 40% of spots will be reserved for new competitors. You can get more information on the "Newcomer Month" tab.

¿Tengo que traer mi propio cubo para competir o me pasaran uno en la competencia?
Cada participante debe traer su propio cubo para competir. Puede tomar prestado el cubo de otro competidor, siempre y cuando se encuentren en grupos distintos, es decir, no pueden turnarse durante una ronda.
¿Tengo que armar el cubo solo una vez?
Tendrás 5 intentos en cada ronda. De los cuales tu resultado será el promedio de ellos tras eliminar el mejor y el peor tiempo.
¿Existe un límite de edad para competir?
No existe un límite de edad para competir, todas las personas son bienvenidas.
¿Existe una separación por edad o sexo?
No existe una separación ni por edad, ni por sexo. Todas las personas compiten en el mismo grupo.
¿Dónde puedo ver los resultados?
Los resultados generales son publicados en la WCA algunos días tras terminada la competencia.
¿Por qué no aparezco en la lista de registrados todavía?
Esto puede deberse principalmente a dos razones:
1.- No te has registrado en la página de la WCA.
2.- Has tenido problemas con el pago de tu inscripción.
Si pagaste, debes enviar un correo a fheckersdorf@worldcubeassociation.org con el comprobante del pago. Si tienes alguna dificultad para pagar, por favor contáctate con nosotros al mismo correo.
¿Qué significa Ao5?
Ao5: Promedio de los tiempos tras eliminar el mejor y el peor tiempo de 5 intentos.
¿Qué significa el límite?
Cada categoría tiene un límite de tiempo. Por ejemplo, para 3x3x3 el límite es 3 minutos.
Si te demoras más de 3 minutos en armar el cubo, tras pasado el tiempo, te detendremos y tu solve quedará como DNF (Did Not Finish).

Do I have to bring my own cube to compete, or will they provide one at the competition?
Each participant must bring their own cube to compete. You can borrow a cube from another competitor as long as you are in different groups, meaning you cannot take turns during a round.
Do I have to solve the cube only once?
You will have 5 attempts in each round. Your result will be the average of these attempts after removing the best and worst time.
Is there an age limit to compete?
There is no age limit to compete; everyone is welcome.
Is there an age or gender separation?
There is no separation by age or gender. All compete in the same group.
Where can I view the results?
The overall results are posted on the WCA website a few days after the competition concludes.
Why am I not appearing on the registered list yet?
This could be primarily due to two reasons:
1.- You have not registered on the WCA website.
2.- You have encountered issues with your registration payment.
If you have made a payment, please send an email to fheckersdorf@worldcubeassociation.org with your payment receipt. If you are having difficulty with payment, please contact us at the same email address.
What does Ao5 mean?
Ao5: Average of 5 times after removing the best and worst time from 5 attempts.
What does the time limit mean?
Each category has a time limit. For example, for 3x3x3, the limit is 3 minutes. If you take longer than 3 minutes to solve the cube, after the time limit has passed, we will stop your solve, and your result will be recorded as DNF (Did Not Finish).

Esta competencia está participando en el Newcomer Month de la WCA oficial de 2024. El proceso de registro reservará el 40% de los cupos para nuevos competidores. Se considera que los nuevos competidores no tienen un ID de la WCA o tienen un ID de la WCA del año 2024. Se considera que los competidores que regresan tienen un ID de la WCA que es del año 2023 o anterior. This competition is participating in the official WCA Newcomer Month 2024. The registration process will reserve 40% of spots for new competitors. New competitors are considered to have no WCA ID or a WCA ID with 2024. Returning competitors are considered to have a WCA ID that is from 2023 or earlier. All competitors must still follow all registration requirements for their registration to be considered complete.
Registrations will be accepted based on the following:
40% of spots, as defined by the competitor limit, are reserved for new competitors.
Initially, 60% of spots, as defined by the competitor limit, are available for returning competitors on a first come, first serve basis.
If greater than 40% of new competitors register before 60% of spots are filled by returning competitors, any additional new competitors will be accepted on a first come, first serve basis alongside returning competitors.
If the spots reserved for new competitors are not filled by new competitors before registration closes two weeks prior to the competition, remaining spots, up to the competitor limit, will be accepted from registered returning competitors.
Time limit
If you reach the time limit during your solve, the judge will stop you and your result will be DNF (see Regulation A1a4).
Cutoff
The result to beat to proceed to the second phase of a cutoff round (see Regulation 9g).
Format
The format describes how to determine the ranking of competitors based on their results. The list of allowed formats per event is described in Regulation 9b. See Regulation 9f for a description of each format.
