Si te inscribes en el torneo de speedcubing podras competir junto a otros competidores y averiguar quien arma el cubo mas rapido.

The fifth edition of the Mind Olympics tournament will feature different tournaments in world-famous disciplines.
If you sign up for the speedcubing tournament, you can compete alongside other competitors and find out who can solve the cube fastest.

There is a competitor limit of 30 competitors.
The base registration fee for this competition is $6,000 (Chilean Peso).
Registration fees won't be refunded under any circumstance.
Registrants on the waiting list may be accepted onto the competitor list until .
If you are a registered competitor you may change your registered events until by contacting the organization team.
No on the spot registrations will be accepted.
Spectators are only permitted as companions of competitors.
Competitors may bring at most 1 guest.

Para poder participar en la competenciade cubos de las Olimpiadas de la Mente - Santiago 2026 debes completar el siguiente proceso de registro:

Ingresa al sitio web https://olimpiadasdelamente.cl/rubik/ y paga la tarifa de inscripcion de $ 6.000 CLP. Existen cupos limitados.
Una vez realizado el pago debes seleccionar el evento en que quiere competir (3x3x3) en el sitio https://www.worldcubeassociation.org/competitions/OlimpiadasdelaMenteStgo2026/register y hacer click en el boton Registrate.
Si no tienes una cuenta WCA, debe crear una en https://www.worldcubeassociation.org/users/sign_up

Después de que completes en orden los dos pasos anteriores, te enviaremos un correo electrónico de confirmación y apareceras en la lista de Registros aprobados.
La aprobación de los registros se realizará en el mismo orden de los pagos del paso numero 1. Como cada registro se aprueba manualmente, te pedimos que esperes 72 horas después de completar el proceso de registro antes de contactarnos al respecto.
La fecha límite para completar el proceso de registro es el dia 31 de Mayo de 2026, 11:59 p.m. -04:00 GMT o cuando se alcanze el límite de 30 competidores, lo que ocurra primero.

Los competidores con registros aprobados entran gratis al museo. En caso de que sean menores de edad, deben estar siempre acompañados de un adulto, el cual también entrará gratis.
No se pude ingresar al museo con equipaje, maletas o bolsos de grandes dimensiones.
No se pueden consumir alimentos dentro del museo.
No está permitido el ingreso de mascotas o animales de cualquier tipo. Sólo se permite el ingreso de animales de servicio o asistencia personal, debidamente certificados.

To participate in the Olimpiadas de la Mente - Santiago 2026 cube competition, you must complete the following registration process:

Enter to the website https://olimpiadasdelamente.cl/rubik/ and pay the registration fee of $6,000 CLP. There is a competitor limit.
Once the payment is made, you must select the events you want to compete in (3x3x3) on the site https://www.worldcubeassociation.org/competitions/OlimpiadasdelaMenteStgo2026/register and click on the Register button.
If you do not have a WCA account, you must create one at https://www.worldcubeassociation.org/users/sign_up

After you complete the above two steps in order, we'll send you a confirmation email and you'll appear on the Approved Registrations list.
Registrations will be approved in the same order as the payments in step 1. As each registration is manually approved, we ask that you wait 24 hours after completing the registration process before contacting us about it.
The deadline to complete the registration process is on Sunday 31/05/2026, 3:59 AM GMT or when the limit of 30 competitors is reached, whichever comes first.

Competitors with approved registrations enter the museum free of charge. Minors must be accompanied by an adult, who also enters free of charge.
Large luggage, suitcases, or bags are not permitted inside the museum.
Food is not allowed inside the museum.
Pets and animals of any kind are not allowed in the museum. Only service animals or personal assistance animals, with proper certification, are permitted.

Informacion importante

Los competidores podrán ingresar sin costo al museo. Si el competidor es menor de edad, debe ir acompañador de un adulto, el cual también entrara gratis. Para distinguirlos, se les entregara una pulsera al momento del ingreso por la calle Sebastopol. Todos los demás acompañantes deben pagar entrada e ingresar por la calle Punta Arenas.
No se pude ingresar al museo con equipaje, maletas o bolsos de grandes dimensiones, por lo que se solicita ir con lo justo y necesario.
No se pueden consumir alimentos dentro del museo, salvo en los espacios específicamente habilitados para ello.
No está permitido el ingreso de mascotas o animales de cualquier tipo. Sólo se permite el ingreso de animales de servicio o asistencia personal, debidamente certificados.
El museo recibe distintos grupos de visitantes, niños, niñas, adultos, personas mayores, personas con discapacidad, entre otros, por lo cual es fundamental que la visita sea tranquila para respetar a todas las personas que están realizando sus recorridos. Se debe usar un volumen moderado de voz, y evitar correr para prevenir accidentes al interior de las instalaciones.
Las personas menores de edad deben estar siempre acompañadas de un adulto.
Ante situaciones de riesgo, el equipo del museo solicitará la evacuación de los edificios de forma preventiva, según el Plan de Evacuación vigente de la institución. Los y las visitantes deberán seguir las instrucciones que les sean indicadas por las y los trabajadores del museo.
El museo se reserva el derecho de finalizar la visita de quien o quienes sean sorprendidos incumpliendo el protocolo del museo de manera grave o reiterada sin devolución del valor de los tickets o cambio de fecha para otra visita. Revisa aca el protocolo completo.

Important Information

Competitors will be admitted to the museum free of charge. If a competitor is a minor, they must be accompanied by an adult, who will also be admitted free of charge. To identify them, they will be given a wristband upon entry via Sebastopol Street. All other accompanying persons must pay admission and enter via Punta Arenas Street.
Large luggage, suitcases, or bags are not allowed inside the museum, so please bring only what you need.
Food is not allowed inside the museum, except in designated areas.
Pets or animals of any kind are not allowed. Only service animals or personal assistance animals, with proper certification, are permitted.
The museum welcomes diverse groups of visitors, including children, adults, seniors, and people with disabilities. Therefore, it is essential that your visit be quiet and respectful of all visitors. Please keep your voice at a moderate volume and avoid running to prevent accidents inside the museum.
Minors must always be accompanied by an adult.
In emergency situations, the museum staff will request the preventive evacuation of the buildings, according to the institution's current Evacuation Plan. Visitors must follow the instructions given by museum staff.
The museum reserves the right to terminate the visit of anyone found to be seriously or repeatedly violating the museum's protocol, without refunding the ticket price or offering a change of date for another visit. Review the complete protocol here here.

Para llegar al museo puedes hacerlo caminando (17 minutos) desde la estacion de Metro Mirador L5, o tomar una micro (25+ minutos)/To get to the MIM you can walk (17 minutes) from the Mirador Metro station L5, or take a bus (25+ minutes).

Las Olimpiadas de la Mente reúnen 7 competencia oficiales simultáneas, algunas con exhibiciones: Puzzles, Riichi Mahjong, Go, Scrabble, Ajedrez, Speedcubing y Catan.

Time limit

If you reach the time limit during your solve, the judge will stop you and your result will be DNF (see Regulation A1a4).

Cutoff

The result to beat to proceed to the second phase of a cutoff round (see Regulation 9g).

Format

The format describes how to determine the ranking of competitors based on their results. The list of allowed formats per event is described in Regulation 9b. See Regulation 9f for a description of each format.

Advancement Condition

The number of competitors shown as advancing to the next round is the planned maximum. The actual number may be lower if there are fewer competitors than expected, or if there are ties at the boundary.
