Our WCA competitions are open to all ages and competitors. If you are interested in signing up for this competition as your first WCA competition, read this page. If you have any questions, reach out to an organizer via email or ask in-person at the competition.

All newcomers must be familiar with the WCA Regulations before competing. This video gives a fun overview of the rules.

Also, please be familiar with how to judge at a cubing competition. All competitors will be required to judge at least once in the events they are competing in. This video gives a basic overview of how to judge. If you have any questions or concerns about judging at your first compeition, reach out to an organizer via email or ask in-person at the competition.

All competitors will be expected to help out during their given staffing assignments. If you do not arrive to help during your scheduled assignment and there are not enough staff members, we reserve the right to disqualify you from competing after a warning.

Check out the Events tab to see cutoffs, time limits, and round qualifications. The Schedule tab has a detailed plan for event times, but keep in mind that the competition may drift ahead or behind slightly as the competition continues. Significant changes in the schedule will be announced via email and in-person if necessary. Competitors only need to be present for the events they're signed up to compete in; we recommend showing up at least 15 minutes in advance.

An email with more details about the venue and competition logistics will be sent out to all competitors 1–3 days before the competition.

If you reach the time limit during your solve, the judge will stop you and your result will be DNF (see Regulation A1a4).
A cumulative time limit may be enforced (see Regulation A1a2).
