This competition features Dual Rounds for 2x2, 3x3, and 4x4.

Dual rounds are a new round format added by the WCA. This is our first time using one at Ohio State.

All competitors signed up will be able to compete in both round 1 and round 2 of each event. Then, the better of your two averages will be compared to that of other competitors to determine whether or not you advance to round 3.
This means all competitors are guaranteed to compete in two rounds of all events. The two rounds are quite far apart on our competition schedule so please make sure you stay until round 2 if you want to compete in it!

Our WCA competitions are open to all ages and competitors. If you are interested in signing up for this competition as your first WCA competition, read this page. If you have any questions, reach out to an organizer via email or ask in-person at the competition.

All newcomers must be familiar with the WCA Regulations before competing. This video gives a fun overview of the rules.

Also, please be familiar with how to judge at a cubing competition. All competitors will be required to judge at least once in the events they are competing in. This video gives a basic overview of how to judge.

All competitors will be expected to help out during their given staffing assignments. If you do not arrive to help during your scheduled assignment and there are not enough staff members, we reserve the right to disqualify you from competing after a warning.

Check out the Events tab to see cutoffs, time limits, and round qualifications. The Schedule tab has a detailed plan for event times, but keep in mind that the competition may drift ahead or behind slightly as the competition continues.
Significant changes in the schedule will be announced via email and in-person if necessary. Competitors only need to be present for the events they're signed up to compete in; we recommend showing up at least 15 minutes in advance.

Parking:
There is a parking garage located adjacent to the building at 1759 N. High Street Columbus, Ohio 43210. Pricing can be found at the garage website.

Entrance:
Ohio Union: You may enter either at the East Entrance on High Street or at the West Entrance on College Road. Proceed to the Cartoon Room on the Third Floor.

Hotels:
There is no designated hotel for this competition.
However, there are multiple hotels located near the univeristy including Holiday Inn Express, Days Inn, Comfort Suites, The Blackwell Inn, The Urban, and more

Food:
There are several options inside the Ohio Union including the Union Market, Woody's Tavern, and Sloopy's Diner, and Espress-OH Cafe. There are also many options within walking distance on High Street.
