INFORMATION
CubingZA is very happy to announce Noordhoek Aeroplane Mode 2025! This will be a PBQ-style competition with all the blindfolded events. Please see the events tab for more information.
Don't forget that to participate you need to register for the competition in the "Register" tab, and make payment by buying a ticket. Please see Registration Requirements below.

There is a competitor limit of 35 competitors.
The base registration fee for this competition is R100 (South African Rand).
If your registration is cancelled before you will be refunded 90% of your registration fee.
Registrants on the waiting list may be accepted onto the competitor list until .
If you are a registered competitor you may change your registered events until on the Register tab.
No on the spot registrations will be accepted.

We encourage everyone to register for the events they want to compete in via your online registration, however you may add events to your registration up until the event has started.
Spectators can attend for free.

REGISTRATION REQUIREMENTS
Please note that there are THREE steps you need to take to be entered into this competition:
1. First-timer competitors must create a WCA account if they do not already have one (or their parent/guardian must create one for them).
2. The competitor must register for the competition using their WCA account, specifying which events they want to participate in.
3. The competitor must pay the entry fee using the link provided below

Registration Payment

Please note: we will be handling the EFT payments manually, so it might take a few days for us to confirm your registration. If you have not recieved a notification from us saying that your registration has been approved within 3 DAYS (72HRS) of making payment, please do not hesitate to contact us. NB. Please use the full name of the COMPETITOR as your reference when making EFT payments

SPECTATORS
Competitors are welcome to bring 1 spectator with them. Please let us know if you need to accommodate more spectators.

VOLUNTEERING
Due to the small amount of competitors at this competition we would greatly appreciate any help for either judging, running or scrambling. Some of these roles are slightly different for BLD events than at regular competitions, if you are unsure we will be happy to explain how they work on the day.

Dylan Swarts won with a single solve of 37.46 seconds in the 3x3x3 Blindfolded event. Tristan Ford finished second (1:02.14) and Daniel Rush finished third (1:06.17).
