Lunch will not be served at this competition, so it is highly recommended you either pack a lunch or bring money for lunch at nearby restaurants. NO FOOD OR DRINK INSIDE THE VENUE. There will be about an hour break for lunch. DUE TO VENUE RULES, PLEASE DO NOT ORDER ANY FORM OF DELIVERY TO THE VENUE (Pizza, DoorDash/Postmates, etc.)
Please try not to wander around the schoolgrounds, as there may be activities from the school going on and it'd be best not to disturb them.
While we will try our best to accomodate everyone, please be considerate of the competitors and staff, and remember that they have priority inside the venue. There will be absolutely no smoking or alcohol in the venue as well.
The schedule will be updated as we draw closer to the event. The main idea is: get to the venue 1 hour before your event.
Cutoffs and time limits are subject to change without notice. Please check back regularly, as the cutoffs might change as the competition draws closer.
For each event, a competitor gets 2 solves to make the cutoff time listed on the spreadsheet. If the competitor does not solve the puzzle under the desired cutoff time, he/she will not be eligible to finish the average.
If during any solve, the competitor exceeds the time limit, he/she will be stopped and the attempt will be considered a DNF.
Event prizes will be provided by the competition's sponsor: SpeedCubeShop. Please check out their extensive selection of cubes, their fast shipping, and their excellent customer service.
Heats will be posted after registration is finalized (which is a week before the competition). Check here for the heats.
If you reach the time limit during your solve, the judge will stop you and your result will be DNF (see Regulation A1a4).
The format describes how to determine the ranking of competitors based on their results. The list of allowed formats per event is described in Regulation 9b. See Regulation 9f for a description of each format.
