How do I register

  • You need to pay in advance the registration fee in order to complete your registration. No registrations will be accepted without payouts.
  1. Register for the competition here
  2. After registration you'll be able to see the button to pay the €20 registration fee;
  3. Remember to check your email address: an email containing more details about the competition will be sent in the week before the event.

Note: The registration procedure is completed only after you have paid the registration fee.

Number of participants
There is a limit of 120 competitors. If the limit is reached, there will be a waiting list.

When can I register
Registration will open on April 24th at 21:00 (GMT+2) and close on June 6th at 21:00 (GMT+2).

How much does it cost
The registration fee for this competition is:

  • €20 (Euro) for Cubing Italy Cubing Italy Members (note: this membership is free, see more below).
  • €30 (Euro) for Cubing Italy non-members (note: non-members will have to pay €20 online plus €10 on site if they decide not to become Member).

How can I become a Member?
Becoming a Cubing Italy Member is free and does not imply any obligation towards the association.
Membership is valid until you request cancellation.

You can become a member by filling out this form on the Cubing Italy website.
For children under the age of 16 a parent's authorization is required. If you are under 16 years old, fill in the form with your data and send it anyway.
You will be asked to fill the form at your first competition.

Can I get a refund?
If your registration is cancelled before 21:00 (GMT+2) of June 6th you will be refunded a 100% of your registration fee. If you wish to cancel your registration, press "delete" here.

Are spectators allowed?
Spectators are allowed to access the venue for free.

How do I get to the venue?
By car:
On the highway, whether coming from Rome or Milan, take the A1 towards Florence.
Take the exit for Florence north and in the direction of Pisa, take the Prato ovest exit.
Here, take the direction towards Montale Agliana.
Take via Leonardo da Vinci until the first exit, continue onto Viale dell'Unione Europea, and at the second roundabout, take the third exit towards Oste.
On Via Terni, at the third roundabout, take Via di Venezia (third exit). Continue onto Via Treviso, and at the second cross street on the right, turn right onto Via Scarpettini. At the third cross street on the left, turn onto Via del Pantano and continue until number 31.

By train:
Get off at Florence Santa Maria Novella and take the regional train to Viareggio, getting off at Prato Porta al Serraglio.
On foot, head towards the "via Sant'Antonio" stop, also called the "passerella" (100 meters away). Here, take the purple Lamb towards Oste and get off at the Via di Oste stop.
From here, walk for about five minutes (approximately 400 meters) to reach the gym.

The school is located on Via Marconcelli, however, the entrance to the gym is located at the back on Via del Pantano.

Come raggiungo la venue?
In macchina:
In autostrada sia per chi viene da Roma sia per chi viene da Milano prendere A1 direzione Firenze.
Uscire a Firenze nord e in direzione Pisa uscire a Prato ovest.
Qui prendere la direzione verso Montale Agliana.
Percorrere via Leonardo da Vinci fino alla prima uscita, continuare in viale dell’Unione Europea e alla seconda rotonda prendere la terza uscita in direzione Oste.
In via Terni, alla terza rotonda, prendere via di Venezia (terza uscita). Procedere in via Treviso, alla seconda traversa a destra in fondo, girare a destra in via Scarpettini e alla terza traversa sulla sinistra girare su via del Pantano e percorrerla fino al civico 31.

In treno:
Scesi a Firenze Santa Maria novella prendere il regionale per Viareggio e scendere a Prato Porta al serraglio.
Dirigersi a piedi (100 m) alla fermata via Sant’Antonio detta passerella qui prendere la Lamb viola in direzione oste e scendere alla fermata Via di Oste.
Da qui camminare per cinque minuti, circa 400 m, per arrivare alla palestra

La scuola si trova in via Marconcelli, tuttavia l’ingresso del palazzetto si trova sul retro in via del Pantano.

The competition is officially recognized by the World Cube Association, therefore competitors are required to know the WCA Regulations.
All the competitors must be available to help during the competition. This means that if required, they'll have to act as judges or scramblers.
During the competition competitors will be divided into groups.

Time limit

If you reach the time limit during your solve, the judge will stop you and your result will be DNF (see Regulation A1a4).
A cumulative time limit may be enforced (see Regulation A1a2).

Cutoff

The result to beat to proceed to the second phase of a cutoff round (see Regulation 9g).

Format

The format describes how to determine the ranking of competitors based on their results. The list of allowed formats per event is described in Regulation 9b. See Regulation 9f for a description of each format.
