The number of competitors in the events 4x4x4 Blindfolded, 5x5x5 Blindfolded and Multi-blind is limited to 15 each.
This means that only the first 15 people that register for each event will be allowed to compete.

We will manually edit registrations so that only the people that can actually compete will show up in the event list. We will also keep track of the waiting list on this tab once the slots are filled.

The competition is hosted at the Crowne Plaza Hotel.
The hotel offers the following price for the competitors and their companions.

Single Room 99€ per day, per room
Double Room 109€ per day, per room

These fares are exclusively for competitors and are valid from Nov. 3rd to Nov. 5th
We will soon share in this tab a link to book accommodation.

Lunch

The hotel's restaurant is open on both days with options starting from 9€.
Alternatively, the hosts can arrange for sandwich/pizza lunch boxes that must be booked in advance.
We will share a survey among the registered competitiors to ask for their lunch plans when the registration window is closed.

How do I register

  • You need to pay in advance the registration fee in order to complete your registration. No registrations will be accepted without payouts.
  1. Register for the competition here
  2. After registration you'll be able to see the button to pay the €20 registration fee;
  3. Remember to check your email address: an email containing more details about the competition will be sent in the week before the event.

Note: The registration procedure is completed only AFTER you have paid the registration fee.

Number of participants
There is a limit of 50 competitors. If the limit is reached, there will be a waiting list.

When can I register
Registration will open on October 6th at 21:00 (CEST) and close on October 30th at 21:00 (CEST).

How much does it cost
The registration fee for this competition is:

  • €20 (Euro) for Cubing Italy Members (note: this membership is free, see more below).
  • €30 (Euro) for Cubing Italy non-members (note: non-members will have to pay €20 online plus €10 on site if they decide not to become Member).

Waiting List
If the competitor limit is reached, we will open a waiting list.
You can check the waiting list here.
You will be put on the waiting list only AFTER you have paid the registration fee.
Registrants on the waiting list may be accepted onto the competitor list until October 30th included.
If you don't make it on the competitor list, you will be refunded 100% of your registration fee.

How can I become a Member?
Becoming a Cubing Italy Member is free and does not imply any obligation towards the association.
Membership is valid until you request cancellation.

You can become a member by filling out this form on the Cubing Italy website.
For children under the age of 16 a parent's authorization is required. If you are under 16 years old, fill in the form with your data and send it anyway.
You will be asked to fill the consent form at your first competition.

Can I get a refund?
If your registration is cancelled before 23:59 of October 30th you will be refunded a 100% of your registration fee. If you wish to cancel your registration, please contact Cubing Italy

Se il limite partecipanti viene raggiunto, sarà aperta una lista d'attesa
Potete consultare la lista d'attesa qui.
Verrete messi sulla lista d'attesa solo DOPO aver pagato la tassa di iscrizione.
I partecipanti sulla lista d'attesa potranno essere approvati per scorrimento fino al 30 ottobre incluso.
Se non doveste riuscire a rientrare nei 50 partecipanti, vi sarà rimborsata interamente la quota di iscrizione.

Come posso associarmi?
Associarsi è gratuito e non comporta alcun obbligo verso l’associazione.
Il tesseramento ha validità permanente, fino ad una cancellazione volontaria.

È possibile associarsi compilando questo form sul sito di Cubing Italy.
Per i minori di 16 anni è necessaria l'autorizzazione di un genitore. Se hai meno di 16 anni, compila comunque il form con i tuoi dati e invialo.
Ti sarà chiesto di compilare un modulo per il consenso alla tua prima competizione ufficiale.

Posso avere un rimborso?
Se cancelli la tua registrazione prima delle 23:59 del 30 ottobre hai diritto al rimborso del 100% della tassa di iscrizione. Se desideri cancellare la tua registrazione, contatta il team organizzativo

How do I get to the venue by public transport?
Once you get to the airport, at floor -1 of Malpensa Terminal 1 you will find a free shuttle bus in front of the Sheraton Hotel that will take you to Case Nuove. From there it's a 8-minute walk to the venue.

The competition is officially recognized by the World Cube Association, therefore competitors are required to know the WCA Regulations.
All the competitors must be available to help during the competition. This means that if required, they'll have to act as judges or scramblers.
During the competition competitors will be divided into groups.

The schedule may be subject to change, so make sure to be at the venue at least 30 minutes before your scheduled events.

Time limit

If you reach the time limit during your solve, the judge will stop you and your result will be DNF (see Regulation A1a4).
A cumulative time limit may be enforced (see Regulation A1a2).

Cutoff

The result to beat to proceed to the second phase of a cutoff round (see Regulation 9g).

Format

The format describes how to determine the ranking of competitors based on their results. The list of allowed formats per event is described in Regulation 9b. See Regulation 9f for a description of each format.
