Malang Cube Open 2023 is the first speedcubing competition in Malang city after the Covid-19 pandemic, as well as the first competition in East Java in 2023. This competition is held at the Malang Creative Center 5th floor,"Bioskop 1" room. This competition is open to the public and there is a podium for first timers. for other information can be seen in the other tab
Malang Cube Open 2023 merupakan kompetisi rubik pertama di kota malang setelah pandemi covid-19, juga sebagai kompetisi pertama di jawa timur pada tahun 2023. kompetisi ini diadakan di malang creative center lantai 5, ruangan "Bioskop 1". kompetisi ini terbuka untuk umum dan ada podium untuk first timer. untuk informasi lain bisa dilihat di tab lainnya

There is a competitor limit of 70 competitors.
The base registration fee for this competition is Rp150,000 (Indonesian Rupiah).
If your registration is cancelled before you will be refunded 75% of your registration fee.
Registrants on the waiting list may be accepted onto the competitor list until .
We encourage everyone to register for the events they want to compete in via your online registration, however you may add events to your registration up until the event has started.
On the spot registrations will be accepted with a base registration fee of Rp150,000 (Indonesian Rupiah).
Any spectator can attend for free.
Registration procedure for Malang Cube Open 2023 :
- Register on the WCA website.
- Pay the registration fee to the bank account listed.
- Send proof of payment by including the participant's full name and the name of the bank account owner who paid to the contact message listed via whatsapp.
- Registration completed, and see you in Malang

Kelas Terbuka
Pada kategori ini semua peserta akan mendapat sertifikat Peserta. Kategori ini bersifat umum dan diikuti semua peserta lomba. dan dari semua 8 cabang yang di lombakan akan diambil 3 pemenang untuk masing masing cabang. pemenang akan mendapatkan sertifikat, rubik, dan medali
Kelas Pemula
Pada kelas ini cabang yang dilombakan adalah rubik 3x3x3 khusus untuk yang baru ikut kompetisi rubik WCA, dan sistem penilaiannya akan dilihat dari ronde pertama rubik 3x3, diambil 3 pemenang dari kelas pemula ini dan akan diumumkan saat awarding. pemenang akan mendapatkan sertifikat, rubik, dan medali
Open Class
In this category all participants will receive participant certificates. This category is general and followed by all contestants. and from all 8 event's in the contest, 3 winners will be taken for each event. the winner will get a certificate, cube, and medal
Beginner Class
In this class, the event that is contested is the 3x3x3 cube only for first timer, and the scoring system will be seen from the first round of the 3x3 cube, 3 winners are taken from this beginner class and will be announced during the awarding. the winner will get a certificate, cube, and medal

Live results will be provided via WCA Live. It may take up to an hour between times being set and them appearing online.
Time limit
If you reach the time limit during your solve, the judge will stop you and your result will be DNF (see Regulation A1a4).
Cutoff
The result to beat to proceed to the second phase of a cutoff round (see Regulation 9g).
Format
The format describes how to determine the ranking of competitors based on their results. The list of allowed formats per event is described in Regulation 9b. See Regulation 9f for a description of each format.
