Important Information for Participants:

Location: The competition will take place at the conference hall.

Arrival Time: Please ensure that you arrive at the venue at least 30 minutes before your event starts. Latecomers will not be permitted to participate.

Volunteering: All participants are kindly requested to volunteer during the competition.

First-Time Participants: If this is your first time participating in a WCA competition or if you're unfamiliar with the competition rules, we strongly recommend reviewing the WCA regulations beforehand.

ID Requirement: First-time participants are required to bring an original, printed, or digital copy of their official ID card. Please ensure you have this with you..

Cube Requirement: Participants must bring their own cubes. Participants are responsible for the safety of the puzzles. If you have difficulty bringing puzzles, please contact us in advance so that we can make arrangements for you.

International Participants: If you are a citizen from outside India, please submit a copy of your Government-issued ID.

There is a competitor limit of 50 competitors.
The base registration fee for this competition is ₹818 (Indian Rupee).
Registration fees won't be refunded under any circumstance.
Registrants on the waiting list may be accepted onto the competitor list until .
If you are a registered competitor you may change your registered events until on the Register tab.
On the spot registrations will be accepted if there are remaining spots available, with a base registration fee of ₹1,200 (Indian Rupee).

Step 3: Scroll to the bottom of the page and select the events in which you want to participate in and hit on Register.

Step 4: Pay the registration fees here and wait up to 48 hours for approval by the organizer.

Wait upto 48 hours for your registration to be confirmed. Once your registration is confirmed, you will get a confirmation email and your name will appear in the list of registered competitors. FAQs

Q: Do I use my own cube to compete?
A: YES! You are responsible for your own hardware in order to compete. This means you should bring your own cube.

Q: What is the normal age of competitors at these events?
A: All ages are welcome, but in general competitors are between 10 and 20 years old. Don't let this stop you though, everyone can and should cube!

Q: How do I find results?
A: All results are posted on the WCA page within a week after the competition finishes. However, for the day of competing, go to https://live.worldcubeassociation.org to find information about current events. This is also where you will find information about upcoming rounds of events. Remember, the results are entered by a human so please be patient if you do not see your results immediately.

Q: Are there age divisions?
A: Nope! All competitors compete together.

Q: Can I have fun at this event?
A: HECK YES! Cubing is amazing, and we sincerely hope you enjoy the competition!

🌍 Directions to Arrive at the Campus

TRAVEL

Directions to arrive at the campus by Air and Taxi:

  • Calicut International Airport (CCJ) at Karipur is the nearest airport, located approximately 45 kilometers from Perinthalmanna. From the airport, you can hire a pre-paid taxi or use an app-based cab service. The journey typically takes 1 to 1.5 hours, depending on traffic.

Directions to arrive at the campus from the North (by Train/Bus):

  • By Train: The nearest major railway station from the north is Tirur Railway Station (TIR), about 32 kilometers from Perinthalmanna. From Tirur, you can hire a taxi or board a direct bus to Perinthalmanna. Travel time is around 45–60 minutes.
  • By Bus: Long-distance buses from Kozhikode, Kannur, or northern Kerala towns usually stop at Kottakkal or Malappuram. From there, frequent buses and taxis are available to Perinthalmanna.

Directions to arrive at the campus from the South (by Train/Bus):

  • By Train: Shoranur Junction (SRR) is a key railway hub located about 20 kilometers from Perinthalmanna. After arrival, you can take a taxi or local bus. The ride takes 30–40 minutes.
  • By Bus: KSRTC and private buses from Palakkad, Thrissur, or Ernakulam regularly pass through or terminate at Perinthalmanna Bus Stand. From the bus stand, local transport (autorickshaws or private buses) can take you to the school easily.

🏨 Accommodation
You can book nearby rooms using any hotel booking app (such as OYO, Booking.com, Air bnb, etc), or find one on arrival as per your convenience.

Time limit

If you reach the time limit during your solve, the judge will stop you and your result will be DNF (see Regulation A1a4).

Cutoff

The result to beat to proceed to the second phase of a cutoff round (see Regulation 9g).

Format

The format describes how to determine the ranking of competitors based on their results. The list of allowed formats per event is described in Regulation 9b. See Regulation 9f for a description of each format.

Advancement Condition

The number of competitors shown as advancing to the next round is the planned maximum. The actual number may be lower if there are fewer competitors than expected, or if there are ties at the boundary.
