본 대회의 모든 종목에는 참가 자격 요건이 있으며, 각 종목별로 평균 또는 단일 기록 기준 상위 N명의 참가자만 해당 종목에 참가할 수 있습니다.

한국 순위 기준 상위 N명이 아닌, "신청자" 중에서 상위 N명 기준입니다.

All events in this competition have qualification requirements. For each event, only the top N competitors based on either average or single results are eligible to participate.

Q. 대회 참가 자격이 어떻게 되나요?
A. 큐브를 맞출 줄 안다면 성별, 국적, 나이와 관계없이 대회에 참가할 수 있습니다! 다만, 대회에 따라 기록과 관련된 제약이 있을 수 있으니, 종목 탭에서 이와 관련한 내용을 참가 신청 전에 꼭 확인하여 주시기를 바랍니다.

Q. 대회 규정이 어떻게 되나요?
A. WCA 규정은 이곳에서 확인하실 수 있으며, 한국어 번역은 이곳에서 확인할 수 있습니다. 대회 전에 규정을 숙지하고 오는 것을 권장합니다!

Q. 참가 신청은 언제, 어떻게 할 수 있나요?
A. 본 대회 공지 페이지의 일반 탭 하단에 참가 신청에 대한 자세한 내용을 확인하실 수 있습니다. 또한, 대한민국에서 열리는 WCA 공인 대회는 보통 매우 빨리 신청 정원에 도달하므로, 신청 시작 시각에 맞추어 신청하시기를 바랍니다.

Q. 공인 대회에 처음 신청하는 것이라 낯설어요. 자세한 정보를 얻을 수 있나요?
A. 신청이 익숙하지 않으신 분들을 위해 대회 신청 매뉴얼을 제작하였습니다. 도움이 되면 좋겠습니다!

Q. 신청을 했는데 제 이름이 명단에서 보이지 않아요. 무엇이 잘못되었나요?
A. 참가 신청을 하면 참가자 명단 혹은 대기자 명단에서 본인의 이름을 찾을 수 있습니다.

Q. 신청 종목을 추가하거나 삭제할 수 있나요?
A. 가능합니다. 대회 참가 신청 사이트에 로그인하여 본인의 신청 내역을 직접 수정하실 수 있습니다. 변동 사항에 의해 추가 비용이 발생하면 사이트에서 결제를 진행하시면 되며, 신청 종목 삭제로 인해 차액이 발생할 경우 차액은 1주일 내로 환불 처리됩니다. 이용하시는 카드사 및 은행에 따라 이보다 더 늦게 처리가 될 수 있습니다.

Q. 신청 종목 변경은 아무 때나 할 수 있나요?
A. 아닙니다! 본 대회 공지 페이지의 일반 탭 하단에 신청 종목 변경 가능 기간이 명시되어 있으며, 공지에 명시된 기간 외에는 신청 종목 변경이 불가합니다.

Q. 대회에 참가하지 못하게 되었습니다. 참가 신청을 취소할 수 있나요?
A. 가능합니다. 대회 참가 신청 사이트에 로그인하여 본인의 참가 신청을 직접 취소하실 수 있습니다. 환불은 신청 취소 후 1주일 내로 처리됩니다. 이용하시는 카드사 및 은행에 따라 이보다 더 늦게 처리가 될 수 있습니다.

Q. 아무 때나 신청을 취소해도 환불을 받을 수 있나요?
A. 아닙니다! 본 대회 공지 페이지의 일반 탭 하단에 신청 취소로 인한 환불 가능 기간이 명시되어 있으며, 해당 기간 안에 환불 요청을 하셔야 환불 규정에 따라 환불 처리가 이루어집니다.

Q. 원활한 대회 참가를 위해 대회 전까지 어떤 것을 준비해 갈 수 있을까요?
A. 공인 대회에 처음 참가하시는 경우 이 영상을 시청하시면 큰 도움이 될 것입니다! 또한, 스태프 배정을 처음 받게 되어 스태프 업무에 익숙하지 않으신 분들께서는 이 영상을 시청하시면 스태프 업무 수행에 도움이 될 것입니다.

Q. 주최 측에서 선수에게 큐브를 제공해 주나요?
A. 아닙니다! 대회 참가를 위해서 모든 선수는 자신의 큐브를 가지고 오셔야 합니다.

Q. 제가 출전하는 종목은 대회 일정상 첫 종목이 아닙니다. 그런데도 첫 종목 시작 시각에 맞추어 대회장에 가야 하나요?
A. 아닙니다. 자신이 출전하는 종목의 첫 번째 라운드가 시작되는 시각의 15분 전까지 대회장에 오셔도 괜찮습니다.

Q. 제가 참가할 순서가 되었다는 것을 어떻게 알 수 있나요?
A. 대회장 입구에서 체크인을 마치면 명찰을 제공받게 되며, 명찰 뒷면에는 개인 일정표가 표시되어 있습니다. 개인 일정표에서 자신의 참가 조를 확인할 수 있으며, 만일 스태프 업무가 배정되었을 경우 스태프 업무 일정 또한 확인하실 수 있습니다. 참가 조마다 선수 및 스태프를 호명하오니, 대회장 내에서는 안내방송을 경청해 주시기를 바랍니다. 선수의 불찰로 참가 조를 놓치면 해당 종목의 기록을 측정할 수 없으니, 이 점 유의 부탁드립니다!

Q. 대회가 종료될 때까지 대회장에 머물러야 하나요?
A. 자신이 참가하는 종목의 기록 측정을 모두 완료하였고, 배정된 스태프 업무를 모두 수행하였다면 대회장에서 나오셔도 괜찮습니다. 다만, 대회장을 나서기 전에 WCA Live에서 자신의 기록이 올바르게 입력되었는지 확인하는 것이 좋습니다.

Q. 대회 생중계 사이트를 보니 제 기록이 잘못 되었거나, 제 이름이 보이지 않아요. 어떻게 해야 하나요?
A. 현장에서 대회 주최 측에 문의하시면 기록지 혹은 증거 자료 확인 후 기록 정정을 도와드릴 수 있습니다. 또한, 대회 기록은 수동으로 실시간 갱신되오니, 측정을 완료한 뒤로 웹사이트에 자신의 기록이 표시되기까지 시간이 걸릴 수 있습니다.

Q. 대회장에서 사진과 영상을 촬영할 수 있나요?
A. WCA 규정에 위반되지 않는 한 자유롭게 사진 및 동영상 촬영이 가능합니다. 자신의 솔브를 촬영할 때는 녹화 화면이 자신에게 보이지 않도록 하고, 선수를 촬영하시는 분들께서는 WCA 규정 7b에 따라 1.5 미터 이상 떨어진 거리에서 촬영해야 합니다. 플래시는 절대로 사용해서는 안 됩니다!

Q. 스태프 업무를 배정받지 않았지만, 대회 진행에 도움이 되고 싶습니다. 어떻게 해야 하나요?
A. 스태프 업무에 관심 가져주셔서 감사합니다! 대회 당일에 운영진에게 문의해 주시면 스태프 수행 여부 판단 후, 최대한 스태프 업무 수행을 하실 수 있도록 도와드리겠습니다.

Q. 대회에 참관하고 싶은데, 어떻게 해야 하나요?
A. 본 대회에 관심 가져주셔서 감사합니다! 일반적으로 KCCU가 주최하는 WCA 공인 대회는 참관비가 존재하지 않으며, 참관객 인원 제한 또한 존재하지 않습니다. 대회 당일에 오셔서 자유롭게 참관하시면 됩니다. 다만, 대회의 특성 혹은 대회장 환경에 따라 참관에 제한이 있는 대회가 있을 수 있습니다.

Q. What are the eligibility criteria for competing?
A. Regardless of gender, nationality, or age, you are very welcome to participate as long as you can solve a twisty puzzle(included in WCA official events). However, please make sure to check the Events tab before registration as some form of restrictions based on your records may or may not exist.

Q. What are the competition regulations?
A. You can check WCA regulations here. All competitors are strongly encouraged to be familiar with the WCA Regulations before the competition!

Q. How and when can I register for this competition?
A. You may check the bottom of the General info tab for guidance. Also, WCA competitions held in South Korea generally fill up to the registration limit very quickly, so we recommend getting ready right before the period starts.

Q. It is my first time joining an official competition and I am not very used to the registration process. Where can I get a more detailed tutorial?
A. We have created a Competition Registration Manual for those who are new to competing in official events. We hope this helps!

Q. I have registered but my name isn’t visible on the competitor list. Did something go wrong?
A. After you have registered for the competition, you can check your name on the competitor list or the waiting list.

Q. Can I add or cancel events?
A. Yes. You may log in to the registration website and edit your registration details. If additional costs arise due to adding more events, you can proceed with the payment on the site. Also, overpayment caused by canceling events will be refunded within one week. However, depending on your credit card company or bank, some unexpected delays may happen.

Q. Can I add/cancel events anytime?
A. No! The period during which event changes are possible is specified at the bottom of the General info tab on the competition announcement page, and changes are not allowed outside the aforementioned period.

Q. I can no longer participate in the competition. Can I cancel my registration?
A. Yes. You may log in to the registration website and cancel your registration, and your fee will be refunded within one week. However, depending on your credit card company or bank, some unexpected delays may happen.

Q. Will I get refunded by canceling anytime?
A. No! The period during which refunds are possible is specified at the bottom of the General info tab, and you must request a refund within the aforementioned period to be eligible for a refund according to our policy.

Q. What can I do before the competition to prepare myself?
A. In case this is your first-ever official competition, this video will help you a ton! Also, this video will be your guide for those who have been assigned as staff for the first time and are not familiar with the duties.

Q. Do organizers provide puzzles to competitors?
A. No! To participate in the competition, everyone must bring their own puzzle.

Q. If the event I am competing in is not the first event on the schedule, do I still need to arrive at the venue by the start time of the first event?
A. No. You may arrive at the venue up to 15 minutes before the start time of the first round of your event.

Q. How will I know when it is my turn to compete?
A. After checking in at the entrance of the venue, you will receive a competitor name tag, which contains a timetable of your schedule. On the timetable, you can check the group you will be competing in, and if you have been assigned staff duties, you can also check your staff schedule. For every group, the names of the competitors and staff will be announced, so please listen closely to the announcements in the venue. If you do not show up for your group, you will not be able to complete any solves, so please keep that in mind!

Q. Do I have to stay at the venue until the competition ends?
A. If you have completed all your solutions for your events and have done all staff duties, you may leave. However, we advise you to check WCA Live to make sure that all your times have been entered correctly.

Q. When I look in WCA Live, my time has been entered incorrectly, or I don't see my name, what should I do?
A. Please contact the competition organizers at the venue and they will be able to help after checking your record sheet or other evidence. Also, please note that competition results are manually updated, so it may take a while for your times to appear on the website after you have completed your solves.

Q. Can I take photos and videos at the event?
A. As long as it does not go against the WCA regulations, you are free to take photos and videos. When filming your solves, make sure that the recording screen is not visible to you, and if you are filming a competitor, do so from at least 1.5 meters away, following WCA Regulation 7b. Please turn off the camera flash!

Q. I was not assigned staff duties, but I would like to help with the staff duties, what can I do?
A. Thank you for your interest in helping with staff duties! If you ask a competition organizer on the day of the competition, we will determine if you are eligible to staff for the competition and assign you to staff duties.

Q. I would like to spectate the competition, what do I need to do?
A. Thank you for your interest in the competition! Normally, an official WCA competition organized by the KCCU does not have a spectator fee and also does not have a spectator limit. You are free to come and spectate the competition. However, depending on the competition, there may be restrictions on spectating.

Q. I lost something at the venue, what should I do?

대회장 내에서 촬영 스태프가 선수분들과 참관객분들을 대상으로 사진 혹은 영상을 촬영합니다. 이 사진 혹은 영상은 대회 홍보 목적으로 사용될 수 있습니다.

대회장 내에 입장하시는 모든 분은 아래 내용에 동의한 것으로 간주합니다:

• 대회의 촬영 스태프가 대회장 내에서 촬영한 저작물을 (사진, 음성, 또는 동영상) 사용할 권리, 저작권, 소유권은 한국큐브문화진흥회에 있습니다.
• 대회장 내 참가자분들의 초상권을 한국큐브문화진흥회에서 사용하는 것에 동의하며, 인격을 침해하지 않는 범위 내에서 저작물을 편집 및 후보정할 수 있습니다.

The media staff may photograph or film competitors and spectators within the competition venue. These photos or videos may be used for promotional purposes.

Everyone entering the competition venue is considered to have agreed to the following:

• The right, copyright, and ownership of the works (photos, audio, or videos) taken by the competition's media staff within the venue belong to the Korea Cube Culture United (KCCU).
• All people within the venue agrees to the use of their portraits within the competition venue by the Korea Cube Culture United (KCCU). They may edit and nominate works within the scope of not infringing on personalities.

참가 신청은 참가 자격에 따라 승인되며, 신청한 종목 중 참가 자격을 충족하는 종목만 최종 승인됩니다.

모든 신청자는 접수 기간 동안 대기 명단에 등록되므로, 신청 종목 수정 또는 신청 취소 시에는 전액 환불됩니다.
