The base registration fee for this competition is KSh900 (Kenyan Shilling).
If your registration is cancelled before you will be refunded 70% of your registration fee.
Registrants on the waiting list may be accepted onto the competitor list until .
If you are a registered competitor you may change your registered events until on the Register tab.
On the spot registrations will be accepted with a base registration fee of KSh900 (Kenyan Shilling).
Spectators are only permitted as companions of competitors.
Competitors may bring at most 2 guests.

Before You Register
All prospective registrants need a WCA account. New competitors can create their own WCA account by clicking here and entering the required information.
How to Register Online
Prospective competitors register by:
1. Signing into their WCA account;
2. Clicking "Register" on the left side of this webpage, selecting the events they would like to compete in, and submitting their registration;
3. Paying the registration fee of Ksh 900. (The registration fee is the same regardless of how many events are selected.) Your registration is not complete until you have paid the registration fee.
Note: You are only allowed to bring up to 2guest with you to this competition.
The competitor limit for this competition is 60. The list of approved competitors can be found by clicking "Competitors" on the left side of this webpage. If there are already 60 competitors on that list, it means the competition is full, and any future registrants will be placed on the waitlist.

Refunds
Approved competitors who cancel their registration before Thursday, June 26 2025 at 8:00 AM are eligible for a refund for 70% of their registration cost. After this date, no refund requests will be honored. Attempting to file a chargeback for the registration fee will lead to being blacklisted from future WCA events.
Waitlist Information
We will be keeping a waitlist for this competition. To secure a place on the waitlist once competitors have paid, simply pay the registration fee. If a competitor emails us to drop out before Thursday, June 26, 2025 at 12:00 PM, you will be notified if you are the next competitor on the waitlist. After that deadline, all remaining competitors on the waitlist will be emailed letting them know they did not get off the waitlist and will be fully refunded.

Who can compete?
Everyone is welcome to compete. All you need to do is register for the event.
Is there a competitor limit?
Yes, it is 60 competitors. You just need to make sure to register before the registration deadline.
How do I register?
Click on the registration tab on the competition website and follow the instructions.
Where can I find my WCA ID?
If you have never competed before, you do not have a WCA ID. You will automatically be assigned one when the results for your first competition are posted. If you have competed before, you can find your WCA ID and profile by searching for yourself on the WCA website.
Do spectators have to pay to attend?
Nope! Spectators may attend free of charge. However we will have a limit of how many spectators/guests may be in the room at one time.
I can only attend for part of the competition. Can I do my solves early?
Unfortunately, no. In order to keep the competition running smoothly, we have to stay on schedule.
When do I need to show up?
Look at the schedule on the competition website. You must be present and ready to compete during all events that you are registered for. The schedule is subject to change. We recommend coming about 15-30 minutes before the start of your first event.
Where can I see the results for the competition?
During the competition, live results will be posted on WCA Live.

Time limit
If you reach the time limit during your solve, the judge will stop you and your result will be DNF (see Regulation A1a4).
Cutoff
The result to beat to proceed to the second phase of a cutoff round (see Regulation 9g).
Format
The format describes how to determine the ranking of competitors based on their results. The list of allowed formats per event is described in Regulation 9b. See Regulation 9f for a description of each format.
