How do I register?

  • You need to pay the registration fee in advance in order to complete your registration. No registrations will be accepted without payments.
  1. Register for the competition here
  2. After registration you'll be able to see the button to pay the €20 registration fee;
  3. Remember to check your email address: an email containing more details about the competition will be sent in the week before the event.

Note: The registration procedure is completed only after you have paid the registration fee.

Number of participants
There is a limit of 100 competitors. If the limit is reached, there will be a waiting list.

When can I register?
Registration will open on May 1st at 21:00 (CET) and close on May 24th at 23:59 (CEST).

How much does it cost?
The registration fee for this competition is:

  • €20 (Euro) for Cubing Italy Cubing Italy Members (note: this membership is free, see more below).
  • €30 (Euro) for Cubing Italy non-members (note: non-members will have to pay €20 online plus €10 on site if they decide not to become Member).

How can I become a Member?
Becoming a Cubing Italy Member is free and does not imply any obligation towards the association.
Membership is valid until you request cancellation.

You can become a member by filling out this form on the Cubing Italy website. The Board of Directors will contact you to confirm the membership with Cubing Italy as taken place.
For children under the age of 16 a parent's authorization is required. If you are under 16 years old, fill in the form with your data and send it anyway. You will be asked to fill the form at your first competition.

Alternatively, it is possible to associate on site.

Can I get a refund?
If your registration is cancelled before 23:59 (CEST) of May 24th you will be refunded 100% of your registration fee. If you wish to cancel your registration, press "delete" here.

How does the waiting list work?
You will be put on the waiting list if you complete the registration process after the competitor limit has been reached.
If someone on the competitor list resigns, the first person on the waiting list will be accepted and will receive a confirmation email.
Registrants on the waiting list may be accepted onto the competitor list until Wednesday, May 24th, 2023 at 23:59 CEST. The waiting list will then be closed and all the competitors that didn't manage to secure a spot, will get a 100% refund on the registration fee.

Note: You will be put on the waiting list only after you have paid the registration fee.

Are spectators allowed?
Spectators are allowed, can attend for free.

Come posso associarmi?
Associarsi è gratuito e non comporta alcun obbligo verso l’associazione.
Il tesseramento ha validità permanente, fino ad una cancellazione volontaria.

È possibile associarsi compilando questo form sul sito di Cubing Italy. Il Consiglio Direttivo ti contatterà per confermarti dell'avvenuta associazione a Cubing Italy.
Per i minori di 16 anni è necessaria l'autorizzazione di un genitore. Se hai meno di 16 anni, compila comunque il form con i tuoi dati e invialo. Ti sarà chiesto di compilare un modulo per il consenso alla tua prima competizione ufficiale.

Alternativamente è possibile associarsi in loco.

Posso avere un rimborso?
Se cancelli la tua registrazione prima delle 23:59 (CEST) del 24 maggio hai diritto al rimborso del 100% della tassa di iscrizione. Se desideri cancellare la tua registrazione, clicca "cancella" qui.

Come funziona la lista d'attesa?
Verrai messo in lista d'attesa se completi il processo di registrazione dopo che il limite è già stato raggiunto.
Se un partecipante rinuncia, la prima persona in lista d'attesa verrà accettata e riceverà una mail di conferma.
Le persone in lista d'attesa possono rientrare tra i partecipanti fino al 24 maggio 2023. Dopodichè la lista sarà chiusa e tutti coloro che non sono riusciti ad entrare riceveranno un rimborso del 100% sulla tassa di iscrizione.

N.B. Sarai considerato in lista d'attesa solo una volta pagata la tassa di iscrizione.

Train

The nearest station is Sarzana. To get there you can take a train towards La Spezia, Pisa or Genoa.
The venue is about 750 m. from the station and it can be reached on foot through the town.
The tickets can be bought at the machines or at the ticket office in the station.

Bus

To get to the venue you can take the buses Bradia capolinea/Falcinello capolinea and get off at the stop Ist. Arzelà, venue is 150 m. away.
You can buy tickets at the newsstandor from the tobacconist.

Car

Coming from Milan:
Drive through A51 and A15 until S. Stefano Magra, then follow signs for Sarzana.
Coming from Rome/Florence/Naples:
Drive through A1, A11 and A12 until Sarzana.
Coming from Rimini/Ancona:
Drive through A14 and A15 until S. Stefano Magra, then follow signs for Sarzana.
Coming from Venice:
Drive through A13, A14 and A15 until S. Stefano Magra, then follow signs for Sarzana.
Coming from Bologna:
Drive through A1 and A15 until S. Stefano Magra, then follow signs for Sarzana.

Airplane

Landing in Genoa/Pisa, drive through A12 until Sarzana.

Treno

La più stazione vicina è quella di Sarzana. Per arrivarci si può prendere un treno in direzione La Spezia, Pisa oppure Genova.
Dalla stazione la palestra dista circa 750 m. e può essere raggiunta a piedi attraversando la cittadina.
I biglietti del treno possono essere comprati dalle macchinette o dalla biglietteria presenti nella stazione.

Autobus

Per arrivare alla palestra si possono prendere gli autobus Bradia capolinea/Falcinello capolinea e scendere alla fermata Ist. Arzelà, da lì la sala dista circa 150 m.
I biglietti possono essere comprati in edicola o dal tabacchino.

Auto

Arrivando da Milano:
Percorrere la A51, successivamente la A15, prendere l'uscita verso S. Stefano Magra e poi seguire le indicazioni fino a Sarzana.

Indicazioni

L'ingresso alla palestra si trova in piazza Ricchetti. Guardando l'edificio si passa dal parcheggio sulla destra. L'accesso è tramite una porta a vetri a lato dell'ingresso principale.

The competition is officially recognized by the World Cube Association, therefore competitors are required to know the WCA Regulations.
All the competitors must be available to help during the competition. This means that if required, they'll have to act as judges or scramblers.
During the competition competitors will be divided into groups.

Time limit

If you reach the time limit during your solve, the judge will stop you and your result will be DNF (see Regulation A1a4).
A cumulative time limit may be enforced (see Regulation A1a2).

Cutoff

The result to beat to proceed to the second phase of a cutoff round (see Regulation 9g).

Format

The format describes how to determine the ranking of competitors based on their results. The list of allowed formats per event is described in Regulation 9b. See Regulation 9f for a description of each format.
