Come mi registro?

1. Registrati per la competizione qui.
2. Il giorno della competizione porta 10€ alla venue per pagare la tassa d'iscrizione.
3. Il giorno della competizione ti verrà chiesto di compilare un modulo per diventare socio di Ottavanota. Per i minori di 18 anni, la compilazione del modulo deve essere effettuata da un genitore. L'iscrizione a Ottavanota è gratuita e non comporta alcun obbligo nei confronti dell'associazione.

Numero di partecipanti
C'è un limite di 20 partecipanti (12 per 5x5 blindfolded e 12 per multi-blind). Una volta raggiunto il limite, sarà aperta una lista d'attesa.

Quando posso registrarmi?
Le registrazioni aprono il 14 ottobre alle 21:00 e chiudono il 15 novembre alle 23:59.

Quanto costa?
Il costo di registrazione a questa competizione è €10 (Euro).

Come funziona la lista d'attesa?
Verrai messo in lista d'attesa se completi il processo di registrazione dopo che il limite è già stato raggiunto.
Se un partecipante rinuncia, la prima persona in lista d'attesa verrà accettata e riceverà una mail di conferma.
Le persone in lista d'attesa possono rientrare tra i partecipanti fino al 20 novembre. Dopodichè la lista sarà chiusa. Non sono necessari rimborsi siccome la tassa d'iscrizione sarà pagata alla venue solo da parte dei partecipanti registrati.

Sono ammessi spettatori?
Gli spettatori non sono ammessi.

Sono ammessi accompagnatori?
Gli accompagnatori sono ammessi e possono accedere gratuitamente. Lo spazio è molto ridotto quindi per favore riduci il numero di accompagnatori al minimo necessario.

How do I register?

1. Register for the competition here.
2. On the day of the competition bring €10 at the venue to pay the registration fee.
3. On the day of the competition you will be asked to fill a form to get Ottavanota's membership. For children under the age of 18, a parent is required to fill the form. Becoming an Ottavanota Member is free and does not imply any obligation towards the association.

Number of participants
There is a limit of 20 competitors (12 for 5x5 blindfolded and 12 for multi-blind). If the limit is reached, there will be a waiting list.

When can I register?
Registration will open on October 14th at 21:00 (CEST) and close on November 15th at 23:59 (CET).

How much does it cost?
The registration fee for this competition is €10 (Euro).

How does the waiting list work?
You will be put on the waiting list if you complete the registration process after the competitor limit has been reached.
If someone on the competitor list resigns, the first person on the waiting list will be accepted and will receive a confirmation email.
Registrants on the waiting list may be accepted onto the competitor list until November 20th, at 23:59. The waiting list will then be closed. No refunds are needed since registration fees will be paid on site only by registered competitors.

Are spectators allowed?
Spectators are not allowed.

Are guests allowed?
Guests are allowed and can attend for free. The venue is small so please be mindful of the number of guests you decide to bring.

✈️ La venue è a una fermata di metropolitana dall’aeroporto di Linate (LIN). Milano è comodamente raggiungibile anche dagli aeroporti di Bergamo/Orio al Serio (BGY) e Malpensa (MXP) con gli autobus e i treni disponibili in aeroporto.

🚉 Vicino alla venue passano il tram 27 e la metropolitana M4 (blu), fermata Repetti.

🚗 Non si può parcheggiare la macchina nel cortile interno.

✈️ The venue is just one metro stop from Linate airport (LIN). Milan is also easily accessible from Bergamo/Orio al Serio (BGY) and Malpensa (MXP) airports using the buses and trains available at the airport.

🚉 Near the venue, tram 27 and the M4 (blue) metro line stop at Repetti station.

🚗 You cannot park your car in the internal courtyard.
If you cannot find a place on the street in via Marco Bruto, we recommend the following free parking lots:

The school is on the first floor without a lift.

Il numero massimo di partecipanti per 5x5x5 Blindfolded è di 12 persone (criterio: migliori 12 iscritti).
Se un partecipante si ritira prima dell'inizio dell'evento o non si presenta, al successivo in lista sarà consentito di partecipare.

If a competitor withdraws or doesn't show up, the next one in line will be allowed to compete.

Multi-Blind

Il numero massimo di partecipanti per Multi-Blind è di 12 persone (criterio: migliori 12 iscritti).
Se un partecipante si ritira prima dell'inizio dell'evento, al successivo in lista sarà consentito di partecipare.
Se un partecipante non si presenta sabato senza ritirarsi, il successivo in lista non può fare il tentativo di sabato. Se il partecipante che non si è presentato sabato non si presenta anche domenica, al successivo in lista sarà consentito di partecipare domenica.

If a competitor withdraws, the next one in line will be allowed to compete.
If a competitor doesn't show up on Saturday without withdrawing, the next competitor on the list will not be able to compete on Saturday. If the competitor who didn't show up on Saturday doesn't show up on Sunday, the next competitor on the list will be allowed to compete on Sunday.

In questa venue ospiteremo anche la competizione FMC Italy 2026 che assegnerà il titolo di Campione Italiano di FMC per il 2026.

La competizione è ufficialmente riconosciuta dalla World Cube Association, quindi i partecipanti sono tenuti a conoscere il Regolamento WCA.
Tutti i concorrenti devono essere disponibili per aiutare durante la competizione. Ciò significa che, se necessario, dovranno rendersi disponibili come giudici o scrambler.
Durante la competizione i concorrenti saranno divisi in gruppi.

The competition is officially recognized by the World Cube Association, therefore competitors are required to know the WCA Regulations.
All the competitors must be available to help during the competition. This means that if required, they'll have to act as judges or scramblers.
