This is the 2020 edition of the annual Indiana competition. This competition will be held over 3 days at the Grand Wayne Convention Center. There is a competitor limit of 350 competitors.
The base registration fee for this competition is $40 (United States Dollar).
If your registration is cancelled before you will be refunded 50% of your registration fee.
On the spot registrations will be accepted with a base registration fee of $55 (United States Dollar).
After the competitors list reaches 350 competitors, competitors will be added to the waiting list if they register AND pay the registration fee. If anyone on the competitors list deletes their registration, the person at the top of the waiting list will be moved to the competitors list. After the online registration period closes, the competitors list will close and anyone who is still on the waiting list will be refunded 100% of their registration fee.
Competitors may change the events they are registered for until the end of the online registration period. After that, competitors may choose not to compete in an event that they registered for, but may not add new events.
There is a limit of 28 competitors in the 3x3x3 Fewest Moves event (This limit might be raised, depending on the room setup - this will be confirmed later on the "About the competition" page). When the online registration period is over, the first 28 people who registered for Fewest Moves and paid their registration fee will receive an email confirming that they are able to compete in Fewest Moves; Fewest Moves will be removed from everyone else's registration.
If you register on the spot, you cannot compete in Fewest Moves.

UPDATE: Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, this competition is cancelled. It will be rescheduled, but the new date has yet to be determined.
The first annual "Indiana" competition was held in Fishers, Indiana in 2011. There were 75 competitors, and the winning 3x3x3 average was 10.16 by Anthony Brooks.
From 2011-2015, the Indiana competitions were organized by Mike Hughey. In 2016, Nathan Dwyer and Tyler Brodzinski organized the Indiana 2016 competition in Fort Wayne, at the same venue that would host CubingUSA Nationals in 2017. There was no Indiana 2017 or Indiana 2018, since in those years Fort Wayne was the host city of CubingUSA Nationals and CubingUSA Great Lakes Championship, respectively. Indiana 2019 returned to Fort Wayne, and saw Luke Garrett win with a 7.75 average, meaning that 4/7 Indiana competitions have been won by a Kentuckian.

Travel
Car:
Metered parking on streets in Downtown Fort Wayne is free on the weekends. There are two parking garages near the venue, one at Jefferson and Calhoun and another on Harrison Street, just south of the venue.
Bus:
The Fort Wayne Greyhound Bus Station is conveniently located less than 600 yards from the competition venue.
Plane:
The Fort Wayne International Airport is located 9 miles away from the competition venue.
Food
We will not be providing lunch for competitors. There are several fast food options within a short walking distance from the competition venue, including Taco Bell, King Gyros, Jimmy John's, Subway, and Burger King.
For great local restaurants, we recommend: J.K. O'Donnell's (Irish pub), Caliente (Cuban), Shigs in Pit (Barbecue), 816 Pint & Slice (Pizza), Tacos Arandas "El Amish", and Powers Hamburgers.

Who can compete?
Anyone can compete, including first-time competitors.I'm only competing in 3x3x3. Do I have to attend on Friday?
No. You only have to show up at least 15 minutes before your first event is scheduled to begin. Of course, you're welcome to attend any part of the competition.I registered and paid, but I can no longer attend. Can I get a refund?
We are offering 50% refunds of registration fees until May 2, after which point no refunds will be given.I missed the online registration, can I still compete?
On-the-spot registrations will be accepted, provided that the competitor limit has not been reached. The on-the-spot registration fee is $55. Competitors who register on the spot will not be able to compete in the Fewest Moves event.
Time limit
If you reach the time limit during your solve, the judge will stop you and your result will be DNF (see Regulation A1a4).
A cumulative time limit may be enforced (see Regulation A1a2).
Cutoff
The result to beat to proceed to the second phase of a cutoff round (see Regulation 9g).
Format
The format describes how to determine the ranking of competitors based on their results. The list of allowed formats per event is described in Regulation 9b. See Regulation 9f for a description of each format.
