Nos juntamos en este torneo para recordar la vida y ejemplo de José, quien nos fue arrebatado inesperadamente.
José participó en 5 torneos y completó 200 solves oficiales. Pero más importante que eso fue que en poco tiempo se ganó el cariño y aprecio de toda la comunidad mediante su don de gentes y su disposición para servir.
Su peculiar sombrero lo distinguía, y nos recordaba lo especial que era. Lo vamos a extrañar agudamente.
José practicaba 6 modalidades, que son las que se ofrecen en esta competencia. Sus cubos han sido donados por su familia y serán entregados a los ganadores para que los conserven en su memoria.
LIMITE
El torneo tiene un límite en el número de participantes igual a 80. Recomendamos completar el registro con la debida anticipación.
El registro se cerrará cuando el límite de participantes se alcance, o en su defecto el jueves 1 de febrero del 2024.
Se aceptarán registros el mísmo día del torneo, pero con una tarifa mayor.
COSTO
El costo de la inscripción es de 12 soles de base (incluye una modalidad) y 2 soles por modalidad adicional. Ver detalles de pago más abajo.
TRANSPORTE
La organización del torneo gestionará transporte desde Arequipa hacia el lugar del torneo y retorno para 15 personas. Podrán acceder a este traslado los primeros 15 inscritos que añadan 25 soles a su inscripción.
REGISTRO
Se recomienda seguir los siguientes pasos para completar exitósamente el registro:
1. Conocer el reglamento de la WCA ya que este es un torneo oficial.
2. Elegir los eventos a inscribir cuidadosamente luego de revisar la pestaña Horario. Prestar atención a los formato de las rondas y a sus cortes y límites.
3. Inscribirse electrónicamente completando el proceso aquí. Quienes participan por primera vez deberan crear una cuenta en la WCA para lo cual requieren tener un correo válido.
4. Hacer el pago de la inscripción en el local de la tienda The Cube Girls en Arequipa, o coordinando el pago electrónico con Natán Riggenbach (Facebook o WhatsApp: 958461002).
5. Esperar a que el registro electrónico sea aceptado.
RESULTADOS PRELIMINARES
Los resultados preliminares, y los clasificados a rondas posteriores, se podrán ver casi en tiempo real en WCALive.
Time limit
If you reach the time limit during your solve, the judge will stop you and your result will be DNF (see Regulation A1a4).
Cutoff
The result to beat to proceed to the second phase of a cutoff round (see Regulation 9g).
Format
The format describes how to determine the ranking of competitors based on their results. The list of allowed formats per event is described in Regulation 9b. See Regulation 9f for a description of each format.
