ILOILO TRAVEL GUIDE

Using TAXIS

Getting to the City from Iloilo Airport:

The airport is about 11km to the venue a 15-20 minute ride.

Grab and regular metered taxis are available right outside the airport.

Public Vans: You can also hop on a public van for a minimal fee

Getting to the Venue (or around the city) from common areas:

From Diversion Road, SM City, or Megaworld Area (lots of AirBnBs/hotels)

This area is about 6-7km from the venue, around a 15-minute ride (traffic depending).

Both metered taxis and Grab are available.

From Jaro, Molo, Lapaz, or Arevalo Districts:

These districts are generally 8-10km from the venue.

Taxis and Grab are also available here.

Using JEEPNEYS

From SM City Iloilo:

Look for "UNGKA" traditional jeepneys passing by SM City. Just stand along the road where there are jeepney stops and waiting sheds. A good landmark is SM Strata.

From City proper:

If coming from the old city proper, take the "JARO CPU UNGKA" route and get off at the Robinsons Pavia jeepney terminal. It's about an 11km, 30-minute ride. Fare is ₱20-₱25 for traditional jeepneys,

Modernized jeepneys: ₱25-₱30

From Lapaz Area:

Head to the Lapaz Public Market.

Take the "JARO CPU-UNGKA" jeep. This will also take you to Robinsons Pavia jeepney terminal.

Fare is around ₱20.

From Molo Area:

Make your way to UP Iloilo

Catch an "UNGKA" or "PAVIA" route jeepney. Fare is about ₱20
MOdernized jeepney: ₱25-₱30

The keyword is always either UNGKA or ROBINSONS PAVIA. Pavia is the first town outside Iloilo City, as it is directly attached to it.

Time limit

If you reach the time limit during your solve, the judge will stop you and your result will be DNF (see Regulation A1a4).
