Join the Illini Cubers Registered Student Organization at the University of Illinois where we will hold three official rounds of 3x3x3 during a weekly meeting.

The base registration fee for this competition is $10 (United States Dollar).

Any spectator can attend for free.

Registration fees will be collected via cash on the day of the competition. This fee is $10 per non-student competitor.
Members of the Illini Cubers RSO at UIUC may register without paying the registration fee. You must bring your I-Card to the competition to verify your student status.

FOR FIRST-TIME COMPETITORS:
There are multiple things a first-timer must know before competing. All newcomers must be familiar with the WCA Regulations before competing. There is a video here for the basic overview of the rules.
In addition, please read this document before coming to the competition to learn about the procedures for judging.
ALL COMPETITORS:
Because this is a small competition, we will create groups in advance but they will not be given out on nametags. You will be able to view your group assignment online in advance, and we will also call up all names with groups. All competitors are expected to help at this competition as well. You will be assgined some task in the group immediately after you compete, or in the first group if you are competing last. If you do not arrive to help during your scheduled event, and there are not enough judges/runners to run that group, we reserve the right to disqualify you from competing.
We will provide a judging tutorial upon request to any competitor right before the start of the 3x3x3 speedsolve event. This will allow anyone with questions about how to judge to be properly prepared when they are expected to help. We hope that this system will fairly divide up the judging of the competition and make the competition run smoothly for all.
This competition is using the new dual round system. This allows everyone to compete in the first two rounds of our 3x3x3 event, regardless of how you place in the first round, unlike under previous formats where at most 75% of competitors can advance to future rounds.

Time limit
If you reach the time limit during your solve, the judge will stop you and your result will be DNF (see Regulation A1a4).
Format
The format describes how to determine the ranking of competitors based on their results. The list of allowed formats per event is described in Regulation 9b. See Regulation 9f for a description of each format.
Advancement Condition
The number of competitors shown as advancing to the next round is the planned maximum. The actual number may be lower if there are fewer competitors than expected, or if there are ties at the boundary.
