Cubers welcome to Howicks First Ever WCA Cubing competition! Bring your cubes, your clocks, your pyraminxes to break some PBs in Howick's first ever cubing competition!

Newcomers are welcome - please make sure to bring some form of ID to registration so that we can confirm your details, and be sure to attend the newcomer's competing and judging tutorial. Everyone, even newcomers, are expected to help out with judging.

There is a competitor limit of 60 competitors.
The base registration fee for this competition is R100 (South African Rand).
If your registration is cancelled before you will be refunded 90% of your registration fee.
Registrants on the waiting list may be accepted onto the competitor list until .
If you are a registered competitor you may change your registered events until on the Register tab.
On the spot registrations will be accepted if there are remaining spots available, with a base registration fee of R150 (South African Rand).
Any spectator can attend for free.

Please note that there are THREE steps you need to take to be entered into this competition:

  1. The competitor must create a WCA account if they do not already have one (or their parent/guardian must create one for them).
  2. The competitor must register for the competition using their WCA account, specifying which events they want to participate in.
  3. The competitor must pay the entry fee by making a payment to CubingZA. Please make sure to include the competitor name in the reference.

If you haven't both registered for the competition (Step 2) and paid for a ticket (Step 3), you will not be able to compete.

After registering for the competition on the WCA website, your registration will be pending. Once the payment has been confirmed on CubingZA, your registration will be approved. (Allow up to 24 hours for the organizers to confirm the payment.)
