Information

This competition has only Blindfolded and Fewest Moves events. If you are a first-time competitor and are interested in competing in regular events like 3x3, you may want to compete at the main Georgia Championship in Dalton two weeks later instead.

All competitors who officially declare their residency on their CubingUSA account in Georgia by Tuesday, December 30, 2025 at 7:00 PM Eastern will be eligible for Georgia Champion titles. Please note that you may be asked to verify your residency at the competition with identifying documentation if you achieve a Georgia Champion title.

There is a competitor limit of 30 competitors.
The base registration fee for this competition is $20 (United States Dollar).
The registration fee has to be paid through Stripe here once registered.
If your registration is cancelled before you will be refunded 75% of your registration fee.
Registrants on the waiting list may be accepted onto the competitor list until .
If you are a registered competitor you may change your registered events until on the Register tab.
No on the spot registrations will be accepted.
Any spectator can attend for free.

Registrations are accepted manually, so please be patient while waiting for your name to appear on the competitor list after you submit payment for your registration. Your registration is not complete until you pay. If you still do not see your name on the competitor list 48 hours after submitting your payment, then please contact the organizers to resolve the issue. You do not have a confirmed spot at the competition until you receive an email with the subject line: "Registration Accepted: Georgia Quiet Championship 2026." Any travel plans that you make before receiving the acceptance email are at your own risk.

After the competitor limit has been reached, you may still submit payment for your registration in order to be put on the waiting list. If you are first on the waiting list and someone cancels their registration, then you will receive an email from the organizers notifying you that you are being accepted into the competition. After registration closes, all competitors left on the waiting list will receive a refund for the registration cost, minus processing fees.

Venue

This competition takes place in The HUB at Calvary (7490 Old Moon Road, Columbus, GA 31909), a youth ministry building on the campus of Calvary Baptist Church. The listed address should navigate you directly to the building. Ample free parking is available onsite, and the location is also served by Columbus's Route 9 local bus, which runs hourly on Saturdays between the venue and the bus transfer center downtown.

Dining

There are various fast food restaurants within a couple miles of the venue, concentrated around highway interchanges.

Lodging

There are many hotels close to the venue, especially around I-185.

Intercity Travel

Columbus has the following options for intercity arrivals, in addition to driving:

  • The Columbus airport is located less than 4 miles from the venue and has commercial service to Atlanta as well as rental cars for local travel.
  • Greyhound buses connect Columbus with other major cities in Georgia and neighboring states at the Sunoco off I-185 (exit 3), where Columbus's Route 3 local bus connects to the bus transfer center downtown.


This competition is in partnership with The Cubicle! They are providing gift cards for the podium in each event, to be awarded at Georgia Championship 2026.

The top 3 competitors in each event will receive gift cards to The Cubicle in the following amounts:

  • 1st place - $15
  • 2nd place - $10
  • 3rd place - $7

Additionally, the Georgia Champion in each event will receive a custom physical prize!

All prizes for this competition will be distributed at Georgia Championship 2026.

About Southeast Cubing, Inc.

Southeast Cubing, Inc. (SECI) is the official 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization for speedcubing in the Southeast United States! SECI supports current and future cubers across the region by:

  • Collecting and sharing information on speedcubing competitions and clubs
  • Supporting the organization of more speedcubing competitions and clubs with resources, guidance, and logistical support
  • Organizing a regional championship every year
  • Engaging in outreach to expand the speedcubing community by visiting local community events

Getting Involved with SECI

You can get involved with SECI in a variety of ways:

SECI Competition Support

This competition is officially supported by SECI through the organization's Supported Competitions Policy, meaning that SECI takes on the overall financial and legal responsibility for the competition by collecting registration fees, paying competition expenses and signing contracts. In return for this support, SECI retains any leftover competition funds to put towards all the important activities listed above that support the organization's nonprofit mission!

Time limit

If you reach the time limit during your solve, the judge will stop you and your result will be DNF (see Regulation A1a4).
A cumulative time limit may be enforced across rounds (see Regulation A1a2).

Format

The format describes how to determine the ranking of competitors based on their results. The list of allowed formats per event is described in Regulation 9b. See Regulation 9f for a description of each format.
