Information

Registration

Please register for the competition via the World Cube Association website before attending the competition in order to speed up the registration process on the day. Also note that the competitor limit is set at 100 competitors. Please register and pay early in order to secure your place in the competition. We are allowing on-the-day registrations but please be aware that if you arrive on the day without registering and/or paying for your entry ticket, we cannot guarantee that you will be able to compete if the competitor limit has been reached.

Tickets to compete start at R 200.00. Please pay online at https://fayview.com/product/wca-gauteng-autumn-participant/. Please note that we will not confirm your registration until you have paid for your entry ticket!

Three ticket types are available:

  • R 200 allows you to compete in the competition.
  • R 250 allows you to compete, and also allows you access to a VIP lounge with non-alcoholic drinks and finger foods throughout the day, as well as couches, seating and a TV screen displaying results.
  • R 450 includes both of the above, and also includes a competition T-Shirt.

  • R 25 ticket will allow you access to the main competition area as a spectator.
  • R 100 will also allow you access to the VIP lounge.
  • R 300 includes both of the above, and also includes a competition T-Shirt.

Other Information

Also note that Covid protocols will be in place. Each competitor and vistors will be required to wear face masks and to sanitise regularly.

The competition is sponsored by Speedcubes.co.za, and some puzzles will be available for sale at the competition.

The base registration fee for this competition is R200 (South African Rand).
Registration fees won't be refunded under any circumstance.
Registrants on the waiting list may be accepted onto the competitor list until .
If you are a registered competitor you may change your registered events until on the Register tab.
On the spot registrations will be accepted with a base registration fee of R200 (South African Rand).
Spectators can attend paying an entry fee of R25 (South African Rand).
