This competition is Canada's championship for 3x3x3 Fewest Moves as we will not hold the event at Canadian Championship 2023. The top-three Canadian competitors will be recognized for the national podium.
This competition will have competitors simultaneously competing in 3x3x3 Fewest Moves at different locations across Canada with one winner.
This isn't your typical speed solving competition as 3x3x3 Fewest Moves is the only event. This is an exam-style event in which competitors spend up to an hour finding the shortest solution they can and writing it down on paper. If you are looking to compete in the traditional 3x3x3 speed solving event or other timed events, please look for another competition in Canada.

Cette compétition est le Championnat canadien de 3x3x3 résolution optimisée (ou FMC) car nous n'organiserons pas cette épreuve lors du Championnat canadien 2023. Les trois premiers compétiteurs canadiens seront reconnus pour le podium national.
Dans le cadre de cette compétition, des compétiteurs participeront simultanément à l'épreuve du 3x3x3 résolution optimisée à différents endroits au Canada et un seul gagnant sera désigné.
Il ne s'agit pas d'une compétition typique où il faut résoudre le plus vite possible, car la seule épreuve est le 3x3x3 résolution optimisée. Il s'agit d'une épreuve de type examen au cours de laquelle les compétiteurs passent jusqu'à une heure à trouver la solution la plus courte possible et à l'écrire sur papier. Si vous cherchez à participer à une compétition de speedcubing plus classique, merci de chercher une autre compétition au Canada.

The base registration fee for this competition is $15 (Canadian Dollar).
The registration fee has to be paid through Stripe here once registered.
If your registration is cancelled before you will be refunded 100% of your registration fee.
Registrants on the waiting list may be accepted onto the competitor list until .
If you are a registered competitor you may change your registered events until by contacting the organization team.
No on the spot registrations will be accepted.
Spectators are only permitted as companions of competitors.
Competitors may bring at most 1 guest.

Please include the name of the city you wish to compete at in the "Comments" section of the registration form. Registrations that do not include a valid city name will not be accepted.

Competitor Limits and Waiting List / Limites de compétiteurs et Liste D'attente

Please make note of the location-specific competitor limits found in the Locations tab. Each location will enforce the competitor limit independently.
Once the competitor limit is reached for a given location, registrants who pay the registration fee will be added to the waiting list instead of the competitor list for that location. Due to the competitor limits, completing your registration within the initial registration period does not guarantee you a spot on the competitor list. The waiting list is ordered based on the timestamps that registrants paid the registration fee.
Anyone on the competitors list who is looking to change to a different location that has a spot available may do so by emailing the organization team. The deadline for changing locations is Thursday, June 8, 2023 at 10:00 PM EDT.
Anyone on the waiting list who wishes to be removed from the waiting list may contact the organizers to delete their registration and be refunded 100% of their registration fee.
If anyone on the competitor list deletes their registration, the person at the top of the waiting list will be moved to the competitor list. After June 8, 2023, the competitor list will be finalized and registrants who are still on the waiting list will be refunded 100% of their registration fee.

Toute personne sur la liste d'attente qui souhaite être retirée de cette dernière peut contacter les organisateurs pour supprimer son inscription et être remboursée à 100% de ses frais d'inscription.
Si une personne sur la liste des compétiteurs supprime son inscription, la personne en tête de la liste d'attente sera déplacée vers la liste des compétiteurs. Après le 8 juin 2023, la liste des compétiteurs sera finalisée et les personnes inscrites sur la liste d'attente seront remboursées à 100% de leurs frais d'inscription.

Time limit
If you reach the time limit during your solve, the judge will stop you and your result will be DNF (see Regulation A1a4).
Format
The format describes how to determine the ranking of competitors based on their results. The list of allowed formats per event is described in Regulation 9b. See Regulation 9f for a description of each format.
