Information

This competition is organized in partnership with West Coast Cubing and SpeedCubeShop.

This competition is on a weekday! (Friday)

All attendees under the age of 18 are required to be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
Competition Day Timing
- The competition will begin at the scheduled start time.
- Events will begin as soon as the previous event is wrapping up. Exception: All First Round events will not start more than 20 minutes early.
- Competitors may not compete in an event if they miss last call for that event. In general, last call is a few minutes after the last group is called.

There is a competitor limit of 28 competitors.
The base registration fee for this competition is $15 (United States Dollar).
If your registration is cancelled before you will be refunded 80% of your registration fee.
Registrants on the waiting list may be accepted onto the competitor list until .
If you are a registered competitor you may change your registered events until by contacting the organization team.
No on the spot registrations will be accepted.


Payment:

  • Upon registering, you will receive an email with the subject "Registration Pending: Davis Weeknight February 2025". This does NOT mean that you are on the registration list. Competitors will not be approved until the payment has been made.
  • Please ensure you have paid the registration fees via Stripe on the "Register" page. Your registration is not complete and will not be processed until you have paid the registration fee. Contact the organizational team if you encounter an issue.

Waitlist:

  • Once the competitor limit has been reached, the waitlist will be opened.
  • You must pay the registration fee to be added to the waitlist.
  • New registrations will be added to a waitlist and sorted in the order of payment.
  • Waitlisted competitors will only be added to the competition if an existing competitor withdraws.
  • All competitors still on the waiting list after Friday, January 31, 2025 at 7:00 PM PST will be removed and provided with a full refund.
  • You can see your position on the waitlist by checking the "Waitlist" tab.

Deleting Registration/Refunds:

  • If you can no longer make the competition, you may request a partial refund.
  • To receive a partial refund, you must contact the organizational team by Friday, January 31, 2025 at 7:00 PM PST.
  • Withdrawing enables us to maximize attendance and allows competitors on the waiting list to attend.

Changing Events

  • You may change the events you are registered for by contacting the organizational team.
  • Competitors may add events up until the event has started. It is acceptable to not show up for any event you do not wish to compete in.

UC Davis Student Registration

  • UC Davis students can compete in this competition for free! If you are a current UC Davis student, please indicate this in your comments and email David Karalli (dkaralli@worldcubeassociation.org) with proof, such as a photo of a student ID, and we will approve your registration without payment.
