Cut-offs: one of first two solves must be under the cut-off to complete an average of 5.
Time limits: max time allowed for a single solve; once this time has been reached a DNF will be given.
The competition is being hosted at the Holiday Inn. There may be a meet-up in the lobby the night before (details TBA).
This competition is being sponsored by Lone Star Cubes. Gift cards will be awarded by them for top 3 in 3x3 and 1st place in any other event. They will also be vending at the competition and have a wide selection of puzzles.
Time limit
If you reach the time limit during your solve, the judge will stop you and your result will be DNF (see Regulation A1a4).
Cutoff
The result to beat to proceed to the second phase of a cutoff round (see Regulation 9g).
Format
The format describes how to determine the ranking of competitors based on their results. The list of allowed formats per event is described in Regulation 9b. See Regulation 9f for a description of each format.
