This is not a normal competition with common events like 3x3 and 2x2. This competition features "quiet" and less common events. For a more normal competition experience, check out the many other competitions happening in Texas, including DFW Qualifier 2025, happening the day after in Arlington.

Please note that the schedule is subject to change, as we may hold events slightly earlier or later than shown depending on whether the competition is running ahead of schedule or behind schedule.
The University of Texas at Dallas and the Comet Cubing Club will not take custodial responsibility of minors while participating in DFW Quiet Qualifier 2025. Custodial responsibility will remain with teachers K-12, parents, legal guardians, and chaperones.

There is a competitor limit of 25 competitors.
The base registration fee for this competition is $15 (United States Dollar).
The registration fee has to be paid through Stripe here once registered.
If your registration is cancelled before you will be refunded 75% of your registration fee.
Registrants on the waiting list may be accepted onto the competitor list until .
We encourage everyone to register for the events they want to compete in via your online registration, however you may add events to your registration up until the event has started.
On the spot registrations will be accepted with a base registration fee of $15 (United States Dollar).
Spectators are only permitted as companions of competitors.
Competitors may bring at most 2 guests.

All Competitors
- Please try to arrive at least 15 minutes early for the events you are competing in to ensure that you are on time for that event.
- To keep the competition running on time and to ensure we can keep the events on schedule we will be requiring all competitors to also judge. We also invite any parents or guests to also help to judge - thank you for your support.
- Your delegates for this competition are Michael Conard, Nathan Benson, and Tristan Patrick. Ask them if you have any questions throughout the day!
New Competitors
We do not recommend this competition for newcomers, as this competition only features blindfolded events and 3x3 Fewest Moves. We instead incourage you to check out the many other competitions happening in Texas.
However, new competitors are still allowed to compete. If so, please be familiar with all of the WCA Regulations, most importantly Article B (Blindfolded Solving) and Article E (Fewest Moves Solving). If you have any questions about the regulations, feel free to ask us!
Room Details: The competition will be held in the Artemis Hall in the Student Union.
Parking: There is parking near the venue. Parking passes will be sent out to competitors before the competition.

Time limit
If you reach the time limit during your solve, the judge will stop you and your result will be DNF (see Regulation A1a4).
A cumulative time limit may be enforced (see Regulation A1a2).
A cumulative time limit may be enforced across rounds (see Guideline A1a2++).
Format
The format describes how to determine the ranking of competitors based on their results. The list of allowed formats per event is described in Regulation 9b. See Regulation 9f for a description of each format.
