The Cube returns to Swabia! Come to Esslingen on April 4th and 5th 2020 and compete with 140 other cubers in solving your puzzles.

Wenn das Teilnehmerlimit bereits erreicht wurde, erhältst du einen Platz auf der Warteliste. Danach erhältst du eine E-Mail, sobald ein Platz für dich frei werden sollte.
Falls du keinen freien Teilnehmerplatz mehr erlangen solltest, wird die Anmeldegebühr selbstverständlich erstattet.
Solltest du nicht mehr teilnehmen können, bitten wir dich darum, uns über obige Mail zu informieren. Dadurch kann ein Teilnehmer auf der Warteliste nachrücken! Auch hier wird die Gebühr bis zum oben angegebenen Zeitpunkt erstattet.
Gäste müssen sich NICHT separat anmelden; der Eintritt beträgt 3€ für das Wochenende und wird vor Ort gezahlt. Es reicht, wenn der Teilnehmer bei der Anmeldung die Anzahl der Gäste angibt.

The registration is not completed until the money is paid! If you have no access to PayPal, please contact the organization team via c-d-esslingen@googlegroups.com.
If you have registered and the competitor limit has been reached, you will receive a spot on the waiting list. You will be notified via e-mail once you obtain a spot.
If you don't obtain a spot on the competitor's list by the time that registration closes, you will get a full refund.
If you can no longer attend the competition, please inform us ASAP via e-mail. We can give the free spot to another person! You will get a refund until the date given above.
Guests do not have to register separately; the fee of 3€ for the weekend is paid at the venue. It is sufficient if the competitor provides the number of guests accompanying them when registering.

Während des Wettbewerbs stellen wir euch gratis Snacks und Getränke zur Verfügung, allerdings kein vollständiges Mittagessen.
Selbstverständlich könnt ihr euch selbst Proviant mitbringen.
In unmittelbarer Nähe zur Venue befinden sich ein Penny, ein Rewe, ein Subway und ein Chinese. Direkt and der Venue gibt es noch ein Café/Bäcker.
At the competition we offer some free snacks and drinks, but no full meal. You're welcome to bring some snacks for yourself as well.
In direct proximity to the venue you'll find two supermarkets, a Subway and an Asian Takeaway. At the entrance to the venue is a bakery.
An der Venue selbst gibt es keine freien Parkplätze. 20 Meter entfernt befindet sich ein Parkhaus. Tagesgebühr beträgt 10 Euro.
Von der S-Bahnstation Esslingen ist die Veranstaltung in zehn Gehminuten zu erreichen.
Hunde sind in der Venue leider nicht erlaubt.
No free parking directly at the venue. There is a parking garage in 20 meters distance. Ticket for the day is 10 Euros.
The train station Esslingen (S-Bahn) is a 10-minute walk from the venue.
Dogs are not permitted at the venue.
Informationen für Neulinge
Falls dies dein erstes WCA Turnier sein sollte, beachte bitte die folgenden Punkte:
Alle Neulinge sind dazu verpflichtet, ein Ausweisdokument an der Anmeldung vorzuzeigen (Regulation 2e). Aus dem Dokument müssen Name, Nationalität und Geburtsdatum hervorgehen.
Alle Neulinge sind eindringlich gebeten, am Tutorial (siehe Zeitplan) teilzunehmen.
Jeder Teilnehmer sollte bereits vor der Meisterschaft mindestens einmal die offiziellen Regeln der WCA gelesen haben. Zusätzlich ist ein Blick in unsere Teilnehmer-Anleitung sowie das WCA Competition Tutorial mehr als ratsam für alle Neulinge!
Keine Angst: während des Turniers besteht die Möglichkeit, sich mit dem offiziellen Equipment (Stackmat-Timer) vertraut zu machen und Fragen zu stellen.
Bei wichtigen Fragen vor dem Turnier kannst du dich gerne an das Organisationsteam wenden.

Nach dem Wettkampf werden alle Ergebnisse in die Datenbank der WCA hochgeladen und auf dieser Seite einzusehen sein.
Newcomer information
If this is your first WCA competition, please pay attention to the following:
According to Regulation 2e), all newcomers are required to bring some form of identification document that shows name, citizenship and date of birth.
All newcomers are urgently asked to attend the Tutorial (see schedule).
Every competitor should have read the official WCA regulations at least once before attending the competition! A more condensed version of the important regulations can be found at the WCA Competition Tutorial.
Don't be afraid: there will also be time to test the equipment (for example the official timing device, the Stackmat timer) and discuss the rules if you have questions at the competition.
Feel free to contact the organizers if you have any uncertainties.

All results will be uploaded to the WCA database after the competition and will be available right here!
If you reach the time limit during your solve, the judge will stop you and your result will be DNF (see Regulation A1a4).
A cumulative time limit may be enforced (see Regulation A1a2).
The result to beat to proceed to the second phase of a combined round (see Regulation 9g).
The format describes how to determine the ranking of competitors based on their results. The list of allowed formats per event is described in Regulation 9b. See Regulation 9f for a description of each format.
