Information

This competition is a part of the Cube Against Cancer competition series in collaboration with Ethan's Ohana. We are asking that all competitors bring at least one unopened 3x3 cube, which will be donated to a pediatric cancer patient. See the Cube Against Cancer tab for more information.

The University of Texas at Dallas and the Comet Cubing Club will not take custodial responsibility of minors while participating in Cube Against Cancer DFW 2026. Custodial responsibility will remain with teachers K-12, parents, legal guardians, and chaperones.

There is a competitor limit of 100 competitors.
The base registration fee for this competition is $40 (United States Dollar).
The registration fee has to be paid through Stripe here once registered.
If your registration is cancelled before you will be refunded 90% of your registration fee.
Registrants on the waiting list may be accepted onto the competitor list until .
We encourage everyone to register for the events they want to compete in via your online registration, however you may add events to your registration up until the event has started.
No on the spot registrations will be accepted.
Any spectator can attend for free.

Registration is first come, first served based on when payment is received.

This competition will use tiered registration pricing, which also determines how many raffle tickets you receive:

  • Early Bird Registration – $20
    March 11, 2026 – March 18, 2026
    Includes 3 raffle tickets

  • Standard Registration – $30
    March 19, 2026 – April 18, 2026
    Includes 2 raffle tickets

  • Late Registration – $40
    April 19, 2026 – April 26, 2026
    Includes 1 raffle ticket

Registration will close on Sunday, April 26, 2026 at 11:59 PM. There will be no on-the-spot registration.

There will be no refunds for no-shows unless cancelled before the refund deadline.

If you register and later realize you cannot attend the competition, you may request a 90% refund via the contact link on the General Info tab before Sunday, April 26, 2026 at 11:59 PM. No refunds will be granted after this deadline.

If the competitor limit has been reached, you may still register and pay the registration fee if you wish, but you will be placed on a waitlist. Competitors will be accepted from the waitlist in the order that payment was received. Competitors who do not make it off the waitlist before the deadline will receive a full refund shortly before the competition. No more registrations will be accepted from the waitlist after Sunday, April 26, 2026 at 11:59 PM.
