¿Qué es?
La Asociación Española de Speedcubing (AES) es una asociación sin ánimo de lucro destinada a organizar, colaborar y difundir los eventos y actividades relacionadas con el mundo del speedcubing en España. Estas actividades se centran en:
- Colaboración en competiciones oficiales.
- Realización anual del Campeonato de España.
- Organización del Campeonato Interescolar.
- Creación de eventos online.
- Conectar a las personas, manteniendo una comunidad sana.

- Material: Aportamos cronómetros, tapacubos, y todo el material necesario para organizar un evento de speedcubing de calidad.
- Difusión: Promovemos y damos difusión a los eventos y al speedcubing en general.

Con el fin de ofreceros más categorías, en esta competición contaremos con límites de tiempo acumulativos que abarcan varias rondas. Específicamente, haremos 4x4 a ciegas y 5x5 a ciegas a la vez, con un límite acumulativo para ambas de una hora. Además, también haremos 4x4 y 5x5 a la vez, con un límite acumulativo de 16 minutos para ambas rondas. Puedes participar en ambas, pero ten en cuenta que es posible que no puedas completar todos los intentos. Por ejemplo, si tardas 2 minutos en hacer un 4x4, es muy posible que no tengas suficiente tiempo para terminar la ronda de 5x5. Piénsatelo bien antes de registrarte a ambas.
En estas categorías utilizaremos hojas de tiempo especiales, pero ¡no hay nada que temer! Son prácticamente iguales que las hojas a las que estáis acostumbrados.
Para que esto funcione (especialmente en 4x4 y 5x5) dividiremos a todos los participantes en dos grupos. Mientras el primer grupo compite, las personas del segundo grupo deberán hacer de jueces y mezcladores a la vez. De la misma manera, mientras compita el segundo grupo, serán los competidores del primero quienes juzguen y mezclen. Por tanto, si vas a participar en alguna de estas categorías, es imprescindible que sepas mezclar bien.

In order to offer you a wider range of events, we will enforce cumulative time limits spanning multiple rounds. More specifically, we will hold 4x4 blindfolded and 5x5 blindfolded at the same time, with a cumulative time limit of one hour for both of them combined. We will also hold 4x4 and 5x5 at the same time, with a cumulative time limit of 16 minutes for both rounds. You can participate in both, but be aware that you may not be able to complete all attempts. For example, if you average 2 minutes on 4x4, you will very likely not have enough time to finish your 5x5 round. Think it through before registering to both events.
We will use special scoresheets during these events, but fear not! They are basically the same as the ones you're used to.
To make this work (especially during 4x4 and 5x5) we will divide all competitors in two groups. While the first group is solving, everyone in the second group must judge and scramble at the same time. Similarly, while the second group is competing, competitors from the first group will judge and scramble for them. Therefore, if you intend to participate in any of these events, you must be able to scramble properly.
Time limit
If you reach the time limit during your solve, the judge will stop you and your result will be DNF (see Regulation A1a4).
A cumulative time limit may be enforced (see Regulation A1a2).
A cumulative time limit may be enforced across rounds (see Guideline A1a2++).
Cutoff
The result to beat to proceed to the second phase of a cutoff round (see Regulation 9g).
Format
The format describes how to determine the ranking of competitors based on their results. The list of allowed formats per event is described in Regulation 9b. See Regulation 9f for a description of each format.
