ALL COMPETITORS MUST READ THIS TAB BEFORE REGISTERING.
Competitions rely on volunteers to happen! All the staff at competitions are volunteers, and we need your help to have a successful competition. Helping out by running and judging is invaluable and keeps the competition on schedule. Everyone can help, this includes first time competitors and even siblings and parents! Staffing is easy and we are happy to help get you started, and it is a great way to make time fly!
Before the competition, you will receive assignments to compete, as well as to staff (judging, running, or possibly scrambling). You are required to show up for these staffing assignments unless you communicate with the organizers of the competition prior to the assignment. Failure to do so may result in disqualification from one or multiple events.
For second rounds and finals, we will not have assigned staff, and we will rely on volunteers to make the competition run. We really appreciate it if we get volunteers, but if you are asked to staff by a delegate when you are available you must do so to avoid the same risk of disqualification.
BY REGISTERING, YOU AGREE THAT YOU UNDERSTAND AND WILL FOLLOW ALL THE INFORMATION LISTED ABOVE.
We're excited to announce that Peak Cubes will be sponsoring this competition!
We thank them for their continued support of Colorado competitions. You can find their website at https://peakcubes.com.

For those of you new to cubing, welcome! We just ask that you know a couple things before coming to compete...
First, please be familiar with the WCA Regulations, found here.
Here are some frequently asked questions:
Q: Are there any restrictions on competing?
A: Nope! Anyone of any skill can compete in this competition, including first-timers. As long as you know how to solve the cube, go ahead and sign up!
Q: Do spectators have to pay?
A: No! All spectators are let into building for free.
Q: Do I use my own cube to compete?
A: Yes! You are responsible for your own hardware in order to compete. We heavily discourage borrowing or sharing other people's cubes at the competition.
Q: How do I find results?
A: All results are posted on the WCA page a couple of days after the competition finishes. However, for the day of competing, go to wca.link/live to find information about current events.
Q: Why am I not on the registration list yet?
A: When you register, make sure you have paid the registration fee. Afterwards, your registration must then be manually accepted, so please wait at least 24 hours before contacting us. You should receive an email when your registration is accepted.
Q: What is the normal age of competitors at these events?
A: All ages are welcome, but in general competitors are between 10 and 20 years old. Don't let this stop you though, everyone can cube!
Q: Are there age divisions?
A: No! All competitors are on an equal playing field.
If you have any other questions, feel free to contact us by using the contact links on the general info page!
If you would like to be notified of future competitions in the state of Colorado, please sign up for the Colorado Cubers newsletter! This newsletter will notify you of future competitions when they are announced, and will provide you with monthly updates with news and results.

We will be selecting a few applicants to join our staff team at this competition. Please note that we occasionally receive many applicants, and while we would love to select everyone, our budget just doesn't always make that possible. If your application isn't accepted, know that we still value your contributions and are excited to have you!
Staff members receive:
* Lunch on both days of the competition.
* Refunded registration fee after the competition if all duties were completed.
Be sure you know what you are getting yourself into! Being on the staff team is a lot of work and can significantly cut into the time you have to practice and socialize, and not everyone will find it enjoyable. Staff are generally busy most every group of the competition, but we will do our best to work breaks into your schedule.
Staff are expected to:
* Complete the assignments on their individual schedules.
* Assist with the general flow of the competition by taking initiative to handle other tasks they notice need to be done.
You can apply to be on the staff team using the link below. We will email you before the competition with the status of your application.
