During the competition, we will have a raclette dinner together. We would be delighted if you could join us and "cube" into the new year.

The base registration fee for this competition is CHF25 (Swiss Franc).
The registration fee has to be paid through Stripe here once registered.
If your registration is cancelled before you will be refunded 100% of your registration fee.
Registrants on the waiting list may be accepted onto the competitor list until .
If you are a registered competitor you may change your registered events until on the Register tab.
No on the spot registrations will be accepted.

Das Raclette
Nach der Competition bauen wir die Venue um, um gemeinsam Raclette zu essen (inkl. Kartoffeln, Silberzwiebeln, Cornichons, Tischgrill etc.) bevor wir das neue Jahr feiern. Alle Esswaren und Getränke werden durch Swisscubing organisiert und sind in der zusätzlichen Raclette-Anmeldegebühr enthalten.
Anmeldung
Nimmst du beim Raclette-Essen teil kommt eine Gebühr von 25CHF zusätzlich hinzu, welche du bei der Competition bezahlen kannst. In diesem Preis inbegriffen ist die zusätzliche Raummiete, alle Esswaren und Getränke und eine Schlafmöglichkeit in der Venue (siehe nächster Abschnitt).
Melde dich bis am 24. Dezember 2025 um 12:00 via board@swisscubing.ch an. Bitte gib deinen Vornamen, Nachnamen und die Anzahl Personen die du anmelden möchtest an.

The Raclette
After the Competition we will remodel the Venue to eat Raclette together (incl. potatoes, silver onions, cornichons, table grill etc.) before we celebrate the New Year. All food and drinks will be organized by Swisscubing and are included in the additional Raclette registration fee.
Registration
If you participate in the Raclette dinner there will be an additional fee of 25CHF which you can pay at the competition. This fee includes the additional room rental, all food and drinks and a place to sleep in the venue (see next section).
Register until December 24, 2025 at 12:00 via board@swisscubing.ch. Please include your first name, last name and the number of people you would like to register.
Übernachtungsmöglichkeit
Es wird NICHT möglich sein in der Venue zu übernachten, aber wir können die ganze Nacht competen.
Overnight accommodation
It WON'T be possible to sleep overnight in the venue, but we will be able to compete all night long.

Auto: Es ist nicht möglich, direkt bei der Venue zu parkieren. Es gibt ein Parkhaus in der Nähe: Parkhaus Twing.
Letztes Jahr kostete das Parkieren 7 Franken pro 12 Stunden.

Car: It is not possible to park your car at the venue. There is a covered car park nearby: Parkhaus Twing.

Willkommen zu deiner ersten Competition! Hier sind die wichtigsten Dinge, die du wissen musst:
✅ Ausweis mitbringen: ID, Pass oder Führerschein zur Bestätigung von Name, Nationalität und Geburtsdatum.
✅ Lerne die Regeln: Schau dir die WCA-Regeln an und dieses Erklärvideo.
✅ Judging-Tutorial: Keine Sorge, wir zeigen dir vor Ort, wie alles funktioniert. Sei pünktlich da fürs Tutorial, wir nehmen uns auch Zeit für deine Fragen.
Wichtige Regeln für alle
✅ Judgen ist Pflicht! Bitte hilf mit – es ist einfach. Falls du nicht hilfst, kann das zur Disqualifikation führen.
✅ Ruhe während Blind-Events. Jedes Geräusch kann stören.
✅ Fotografieren ist erlaubt, aber bitte ohne Blitzlicht
✅ keine Gespräche in der Waiting Area über Scrambles.
✅ Halte deine Würfel im Auge
✅ Respektiere die Venue. Entsorge deinen Müll und halte deinen Platz sauber.

Newcomer Information
Welcome to your first competition! Here are the most important things you need to know:
✅ Bring an ID: Passport, driver's licence, or any official ID to verify your name, nationality, and date of birth.
✅ Learn the rules: Check out the WCA regulations and watch this explanatory video.
✅ Judging tutorial: Don’t worry! We’ll show you how everything works on-site. Be on time for the tutorial—we’ll also answer any questions you have.
Important Rules for Everyone
✅ Judging is mandatory! Please help—it’s easy. If you refuse to judge, you may be disqualified.
✅ Silence during Blindfolded events: Any noise can disturb competitors.
✅ Photography is allowed, but please disable flash.
✅ No discussing scrambles in the Waiting Area.
✅ Keep an eye on your cubes.
✅ Respect the venue: Dispose of your trash and keep your space clean.
📸 Photos & Videos: We record footage for social media and our website. By participating, you agree to this.

Time limit
If you reach the time limit during your solve, the judge will stop you and your result will be DNF (see Regulation A1a4).
A cumulative time limit may be enforced (see Regulation A1a2).
Cutoff
The result to beat to proceed to the second phase of a cutoff round (see Regulation 9g).
Format
The format describes how to determine the ranking of competitors based on their results. The list of allowed formats per event is described in Regulation 9b. See Regulation 9f for a description of each format.
