Information

Please register for the competition via the World Cube Association website before attending the competition in order to speed up the registration process on the day. Also note that the competitor limit is set at 60 competitors. Please register early in order to secure your place in the competition.

Entry fee for the competition with be R200.00. Please pay online at Speedcubes using the following URL : https://www.speedcubes.co.za/19-competitions

Also note that Covid protocols will be in place. Each competitor and vistors will be required to wear face masks and to sanitise regularly. No sharing of puzzles will be allowed.

Each competitor will be required to perform duties of judging and runners for puzzles, personal timing devices will be allowed for judging but stop watches will be provided. Please also bring your own pen to be used for signing timing sheets.

Due to Covid restrictions only 2 visitors per competitor will be allowed on the day in order to keep numbers lower.

The sponsor for the event is Speedcubes.co.za and there will be a limited number of cubes for sale on the day.

The base registration fee for this competition is R200 (South African Rand).
If your registration is cancelled before you will be refunded 100% of your registration fee.
Registrants on the waiting list may be accepted onto the competitor list until .
We encourage everyone to register for the events they want to compete in via your online registration, however you may add events to your registration up until the event has started.
On the spot registrations will be accepted with a base registration fee of R200 (South African Rand).

Daniel Rush won with an average of 8.75 seconds in the 3x3x3 Cube event. Joshua Christian Marais finished second (9.53) and Herman Fourie finished third (10.09).
