Information

The only events at this competition will be 3x3x3 Multiple Blindfolded, 3x3x3 Fewest Moves, 4x4x4 Blindfolded, and 5x5x5 blindfolded. First-time competitors are welcome, however we will not be holding the normal speedsolving events, and so you may prefer to attend a different competition.

Don't be late! This competition is on the first day of Daylight Savings Time, so make sure you turn your clocks forward so you don't miss the first hour.

The base registration fee for this competition is $10 (United States Dollar).
If your registration is cancelled before you will be refunded 50% of your registration fee.
Registrants on the waiting list may be accepted onto the competitor list until .
If you are a registered competitor you may change your registered events until on the Register tab.
No on the spot registrations will be accepted.
Spectators are only permitted as companions of competitors.

-Competitors may bring at most one guest, and competitors are strongly encouraged to not bring a guest if possible.
-Everyone must wear a mask at all times, covering both nose and mouth, except during lunch.
-If you have COVID, or are instructed to quarantine after close contact with someone who tests positive, do not attend the competition.
-Competitors who choose not to follow these restrictions will be disqualified and will need to leave the venue.
-We will be requiring proof of a negative COVID-19 test within 96 hours of the competition or proof of full vaccination to enter the competition. Competitors without either will not be allowed in under any circimstance! To clarify, an individual is only considered fully vaccinated if they have received their second dose of a two-dose vaccine (Pfizer or Moderna) or their only dose of a single-dose vaccine (J&J) more than two weeks before the competition. Any dose received after Sunday February 27th, 2021 is insufficient for entrance to the competition.

These guidelines are subject to be made more or less strict depending on the COVID situation closer to the competition in the region and nation.

The competition will be held at Tim Reynolds' house. The address will be provided to registered competitors a week before the competition. It is near Alewife in Cambridge, Massachusetts, USA.

There is public transit available very nearby. Street parking is also available.

Lunch will be provided for all competitors and is included in the cost of registration.

We will have two groups for Multi Blind:

Group A: Tim Reynolds, Will Russo, Timothy Lawrance, Aedan Bryant, Hassan Khanani, JP Bulman, Brian Veth, Jacob Beckley, Joseph Tahan, Taiyo Nakai, Thiago Han, Zachary Friedman
Group B: Rowe Hessler, Elliott Kobelansky, James Quinn, Joey Mait

Group B will begin once 4 people from Group A have finished.

Time limit

If you reach the time limit during your solve, the judge will stop you and your result will be DNF (see Regulation A1a4).
A cumulative time limit may be enforced across rounds (see Guideline A1a2++).

Format

The format describes how to determine the ranking of competitors based on their results. The list of allowed formats per event is described in Regulation 9b. See Regulation 9f for a description of each format.
