Antes de registrarte debes de leer detenidamente toda la información y seguir todos los pasos.
Antes de registrarte favor de confirmar que aun queden cupos disponibles, el cupo máximo es de 80 competidores.

1.- Crea una cuenta o inicia sesión:
Si tienes dudas revisa el siguiente Video Tutorial.
-Si es tu primera competencia oficial, puedes saltar al siguiente punto.
-Si ya has asistido a otra competencia oficial y ya tienes vinculada tu cuenta, puedes saltar al siguiente punto.
-Si ya has participado en otra competencia oficial pero no tienes vinculado tu WCAId, realiza los pasos del siguiente vídeo:
Como reclamar tu WCAiD.

2.- Entra en la pestaña de registro, selecciona tus categorias y cantidad de acompañantes, y da click en registrarse.

3.- Realiza el pago de $260 MXN* ( docientos sesenta pesos 00/100 MXN) mediante Stripe (se requiere tarjeta de débito o crédito). Tu registro no está completo hasta que hayas realizado el pago.
-El registro estara abierto del 07 de agosto hasta el 09 de septiembre del 2023.
-Si el cupo máximo de competidores (80) no se ha llenado para esta fecha se aceptaran registros in situ con un costo de $300 MXN (trescientos pesos 00/100 MXN).

4.- Verifica que aparezcas en la lista de competidores.
-Si tienes alguna duda respecto a tu registro puedes contactarnos mediante el correo.

Permanece atento a tu correo en caso de cualquier aviso importante (tambien revisa la bandeja de spam), si decides cancelar tu registro o no asistir a la competencia favor de contactarnos al correo para ayudarte con el porcentaje de tu reembolso y poderle dar tu lugar a otro competidor.

-If you already have your WCAid connected to your WCA Account, you can skip to next step.
-If you have already participated in another official competition, but your WCAid is not connected to your WCA Account. You can claim your WCAid following the next video:

2.- Enter the registration tab, select your categories and number of companions, and click on register.

3.- Make the payment of $260 MXN* (two hundred and sixty pesos 00/100 MXN) through Stripe (debit or credit card required). Your registration is not complete until you have made the payment.
-Registration will be open from August 7 to September 9, 2023.
-If the maximum number of competitors (80) has not been filled by this date, on-site registrations will be accepted at a cost of $300 MXN (three hundred pesos 00/100 MXN).

4.- Verify that you appear on the list of competitors.
-If you have any questions regarding your registration you can contact us by e-mail.

Stay tuned to your email in case of any important notice (also check the spam folder), if you decide to cancel your registration or not attend the competition please contact us at e-mail to help you with the percentage of your refund and be able to give your place to another competitor.

Aunque el Aeropuerto internacional de mexicali esta relativamente alejado de la parte principal de la ciudad, el recorrido es bastante sencillo y no deberia de tomarte más de unos 20 minutos para transportarte del aeropuerto hasta la sede del torneo.
Si viajas por autobus, la central de autobuses tiene una ubicacion centrica que te permitida llegar sin problemas a la sede. Otras compañias de autobuses como Tufesa pueden tener distintas paradas (esta ultima tiene una parada a un par de calles de la sede).

Although the Mexicali International Airport is relatively far from the main part of the city, the route is fairly easy and shouldn't take you more than 20 minutes to get from the airport to the tournament venue.
If you travel by bus, the bus station has a central location that allows you to easily reach the venue. Other bus companies such as Tufesa may have different stops (the latter has a stop a couple of streets from the event venue).

Sleep Inn
Se encuentra a un par de calles de la sede, haciendo menos de 5 minutos en auto y 15 caminando. Tiene un costo de alrededor de $1,200 MXN por una noche.
It is located a couple of streets from the venue, taking less than 5 minutes by car and 15 walking. It has a cost of around $1,200 MXN (around $70 USD) for one night.

Extended Suites
Se encuentra a unos 10 minutos en auto y con un costo aproximado de $1,000 MXN por una noche. Esta ubicado al frente de una de las plazas mas populares de Mexicali, Plaza San Pedro.
It is about 10 minutes away by car and costs approximately $1,000 MXN (around $60 USD) for one night. It is located in front of one of the most popular plazas in Mexicali, Plaza San Pedro.

Airbnb
Aunque no sea un lugar en especifico, te recomendamos checar la pagina de airbnb, hay una gran variedad de habitaciones en renta alrededor de la sede por un precio considerablemente más bajo, rondando alrededor de los $600 MXN.
Although it is not a specific place, we recommend you check the airbnb page, there are a wide variety of rooms for rent around the headquarters for a considerably lower price, around $600 MXN (around $35 USD).

Información de la lista de espera:

• Si se ha alcanzado el límite de 80 competidores, aún puedes registrarte para asegurar un lugar en la lista de espera.
• Hasta el 20 de septiembre, cualquier competidor puede cancelar su registro y permitir que la primera persona en la lista de espera ocupe su lugar.
• Después del 23 de septiembre , se les eliminará de la lista de espera.
• Estar en la lista de espera no asegura de ninguna manera obtener un lugar en la competencia. Ningún competidor en lista de espera podrá participar los días de la competencia.

Waitlist Information:

• If the limit of 80 competitors has been reached, you can still register to secure a spot on the waiting list.
• Until september 20th, any competitor can cancel their registration, allowing the first person on the waiting list to take their place.
• After september 23th, competitors will be removed from the waiting list.
• Being on the waiting list does not guarantee obtaining a spot in the competition. No competitor on the waiting list will be able to participate on the competition days.

Recomendaciones:

Estar vacunado contra COVID-19.
Si tienes síntomas relacionados con COVID-19 como tos, fiebre, dificultad para respirar, etc. evita asistir a la competencia o realízate una prueba antes de asistir.
Si has tenido una prueba COVID-19 positiva o una exposición prolongada a alguien con el virus dentro de los 8 días anteriores a la competencia, evita asistir.
Al registrarte para esta competencia aceptas que comprendes toda la información presentada en esta pestaña y que tanto tú como tus acompañantes cumplirán con todas las recomendaciones; que la infración a estas normas puede ser motivo para prohibirles permanecer dentro de la competencia y esto no lo hace elegible a un reembolso; además de que reconocen el riesgo de contraer COVID-19 o cualquier otra enfermedad al asistir a un evento de esta escala.

Recommendations:
Wear face mask at all times.
Maintain a minimum of 1 meter distance from others whenever possible.
Be vaccinated against COVID-19.
If you have symptoms related to COVID-19 such as cough, fever, shortness of breath, etc. avoid attending the competition or take a test before attending.
If you have had a positive COVID-19 test or an exposure to someone with the COVID virus within 8 days prior to the competition, please avoid attending.
